Development Program on “Power Transmission in India – System, Issues &
Perspectives” in association with the Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad
(IIMA). The program is designed by the experts from PXIL and IIMA with focus on recent
developments in the Power sector. The venue for this program is IIM Ahmedabad Campus
and the program is scheduled during October 13-15, 2014.
Program Objective:
Adequate and robust transmission system is critical for reliable and stable operations of Power Market.
The numerous benefits of a robust transmission network are undisputed. While the investments in this
sector have been cost-effective they have been inadequate. Investments in needed and beneficial
