What is a colour ?Colour is light reflected from an object.

What is a colour wheel?A colour wheel is a circle divided equally into 12 sections that shows the relationship between the primary, secondary and tertiary colours.

A primary colour is one that cannot be mixed. There are three primary colours:

RED BLUE YELLOW

They are the colours from which any other colour can be mixed.

A secondary colour is one that is formed by mixing any two primary colours in equal proportions. There are three secondary colours:

VIOLET ORANGE GREEN

On the colour wheel, the secondary colour formed from the mixture of two primary colours is represented between those two primary colours. For instance orange always appears between red and yellow.
