Barriers

Stats taken from 71 Learners

We are very proud of the progression of our learners especially as they have many barriers to contend with.

Page 18: Power In Partnership Ltd Working in conjunction with: Halton Housing Trust Learners at work.

Support AgenciesThe majority of our learners have already been involved with support agencies who also assist them in their ‘distance travelled.’

More commonly we have been told that the families are supported by Halton Housing Trust with a range of their issues not just rent and Housing issues.

In 2013 and 2014 we intend to document those interventions as this has now become a Support Agency which is increasing month by month.

Next Steps• PIP hopes to Trial a new Social Enterprise arm with Halton

Housing Trust delivering Social Value in regard to Void Services.

• PIP will work in collaboration with Halton Housing Trust with its new initiative “Traineeships” for 19-23 Year Olds Volunteering in their Communities.

• PIP will attempt to roll out this model by seeking infrastructure funding in order to support the sustainability and growth of the model.

• We feel this is best practice and a good example of how with creativity and true partnership challenges can be overcome and local economies can be improved.
