Thefirstthingthatanointingdidwastobreakthebackboneofpoverty.WhenHesaid'thepoor'hemeansthepoorinallramifications:spirituallypoor,physicallypoor,maritallypoor,materiallypoor,financiallypoor,mentallypoor,etc.

'ForyouknowthegraceofourLordJesusChrist,forthoughHewasrich,yetforyoursakes,Hebecamepoor,thatyouthroughHispovertymayberich.'2Corinthians8:9.

Whenyoutalkaboutfinances,youaretalkingaboutMONEY.

WHATISMONEY?

MONEY is themost acceptable form of exchange. It is controlled by a spiritcalledmammon.Untilweknowhowtodealwithit,wecannotenjoytrueriches.Moneyhasacaginginfluence,ithasturneditselftothegreatestidol.Majorityofpeopleinthisworldhavebeencapturedbytheschoolofmoneyworshippers.

Manyhavegonetoplacestheyshouldnothavegonebecauseofmoney.Manyhaveeatenandswallowedwhattheyshouldnotreallyhaveeatenorswallowedbecauseofmoney.Manyhavebeensufferinginstrangelandsbecauseofmoney.Moneyisadeceiverandcouldgiveyousicknessesthatnobodycancure.

Moneyhasdeceivedmanygirlsintobreakingtheirvirginityinshameandsellingtheirbodies.

Money hasmademany people to suck human blood, it has even changed thevisionofsomanygreatmenofGodtoday.Asyouarereadingthisbook,Ihavea long list of so-called men of God that money has destroyed their calling.Money has also destroyed many destinies. It can be put you in direct

confrontationwithyourdestiny.

Thatiswhyamancouldkillhisownwifeorhisownmotherforritualinordertoberich.NowondertheBiblesays,"ItistheblessingoftheLordthatmakethrichandaddednosorrowtoit".Quickmoneyisquickdeath,butwhenyouarehard-working,andyouarepatient,Godwillblessyouandyouwillnotgatherthewealthofsorrow.

Moneyhasavoiceandtolistentoitsvoiceistomarryacobra.Itisanancientpower,and it'sstronganddeceitful. Itcontrols foolsandmakes themtodoallkindsofevilthings.

Mosttimesifyoufindpeoplefightinginachurch,andthechurchsplitsintotwoorthree,youcanbesurethatitisnotfar-fetchedfrommoney.

FINANCIALDELIVERANCE

Thefirstdeliverancemanypeopleneed is thedeliverance fromthegripof thespiritofmammon.Financialdeliverancemeansseventhings:1.Freedomfromdebt.2.Eatingwhatyouwantandnotjustwhatyousee.3. Not being dependent on your parents or others for your livelihood orsustenance.

4.Adequateprovisionforyourselfandyourfamily.5.Havingbasicneedsoflife(food,shelterclothingandhealth)met.6.Havingmoreincomethanexpenditure.7.Beingabletolendandnotborrow.

WHYWENEEDFINANCIALDELIVERANCE?

1.Tohaveafullandafulfilledlife.2.TomanifestthegloryofGod.3.Toappropriateyourredemptionrights.4.Thedestiniesofmanypeopleareattachedtoours,andweneedtocarrytheirburden.

5.TobeabletofurtherthethingsofGod'skingdom.

6. Because poverty is demonic and is a killer. Do you know that millions ofpeople die of malaria every year just because of poverty? If poverty isremoved, malaria will stop killing people. Somebody is supposed to buyinsecticidebutcannotafforditbecauseofpoverty.

7.Tolayuptreasuresforourselvesinheaven.

Ifyouwillpraywithholyviolenceandholyanger,thechainofdebttheenemyhastiedaroundyourneckwillbebroken.Youneedtoaggressivelydemandyourfinancialfreedombecauseifyouarenotfinanciallyfree,youarenotfreeindeed,nomatterhowbigyourideais.Youcannotsucceedwithoutmoney,andifyouallow thedevil to stealyourmoney,hecanparalyseyour life. Ifyoudon't tiedownwhatGodhasgivenyou,theenemywilltakeitaway.

It is a tragedywhen you are supposed to be amountain-mover but the handswithwhich tomove themountain have been cut-off by poverty. Therewas awomanImetinU.S.A.Ifshewerestandingherenowandsomeoneisbrokeandwantstoknowwhotogotobegformoney,withthewayshelooksandcarriesherself, she would be the one one will go to. But she doesn't have one cent.Anywhere she goes, they believe she is very rich; in fact people go to her toborrow money but they are now surprised when she says, "I have not eatenbreakfast."Theanointingforwealthisuponherbuttheenemyhasburiedit.Canyoucloseyoureyesandshoutthisprayerloudandclear:

Everypower,delegatedtoburymywealth,youarealiar,DIE!inthenameofJesus.

Whatisaffliction?

Affliction is a condition of suffering, pain, distress, and calamity, imposed byillness,lossormisfortune.Itisanythingcausingpain,sufferinganddistress.Itisan entity, a spirit. It can be regarded as a trial, the trial that tries people'sendurance. It can be regarded as tribulation and misfortune that applies to acircumstanceorevent.TherearecriesoftheafflictedintheBible:ManypersonalitiesintheBiblewereafflictedandcameoutgloriously.WehavepersonalitiessuchasHannah,Job,David,Ruthandsoon.Hannahcriedto theLordinherconditionwhichshecalledanaffliction.HereHannahcallsbareness,affliction.

Andshevowedavow,andsaid,OLORDofhosts,ifthouwiltindeedlookon theafflictionof thinehandmaid,andrememberme,andnotforgetthinehandmaid,butwiltgiveuntothinehandmaidamanchild,thenIwillgivehimuntotheLORDallthedaysofhis life,and thereshallnorazorcomeuponhishead.ISam1:11.

DavidcriedinPsalm25:16Turntheeuntome,andhavemercyuponme;forIamdesolateandafflicted.

AlsohearhiscryagaininPsalm94:16-18:

Whowillriseupformeagainsttheevildoers?orwhowillstandupforme against theworkers of iniquity?Unless the LORDhad beenmyhelp, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. When I said, My foot

slippeth;thymercy,OLORD,heldmeup.

Davidcriedagainsttheevildoersandtheworkersofiniquitywhoassignedevilsagainst his soul. Jonah lamented in Jonah 2:2:, I cried by reason of mineafflictionuntotheLORD,andheheardme;outofthebellyofhellcriedI,andthouheardestmyvoice.

Jonahwentthroughaconditionoflifeanddeath.Hecalledthatanaffliction.Hispredicamentcameasaresultofdisobedient.Therefore,numberonereasonthatafflictionwill come upon a person is disobecdience. Affliction has a day andtime ofmanifestation.By this Imean, it has the day and timewhen it comesuponman.Jobknewthisspiritual realitywhenhe lamented inJob30:16:Andnowmysoulispouredoutuponme;thedaysofafflictionhavetakenholduponme.

Mybonesarepiercedinmeinthenightseason:andmysinewstakenorest.Job30:17.

TheLORDsaid,Verilyitshallbewellwiththyremnant;verilyIwillcausetheenemytoentreattheewellinthetimeofevilandinthetimeofaffliction.Jer15:11.

OLORD,mystrength,andmy fortress,andmyrefuge in thedayofaffliction,theGentilesshallcomeuntotheefromtheendsoftheearth,andshallsay,Surelyourfathershaveinheritedlies,vanity,andthingswhereinthereisnoprofit.Jeremiah16:19.

THEPOWEROFAFFLICTION

Afflictionhascordswithwhichittiespeopledown.

And if theybebound in fetters,andbeholden incordsofaffliction;Job36:8.

TheBibleclearlysaysthatapersoncanbehelddownbythecordsofaffliction.Whensomeoneiscastdownorlosesabattle,whetherspiritualorphysicalandrefusestoriseuptoconfrontthefailure,suchapersonisbeinghelddownbythe

cordsofaffliction.

Thereisbreadandwaterofaffliction:

Andsay,Thus saith theking,Put this fellow in theprison,and feedhimwithbreadofafflictionandwithwaterofaffliction,untilIreturninpeace.IIChronicles18:26AndthoughtheLordgiveyouthebreadofadversity,andthewaterofaffliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner anymore,butthineeyesshallseethyteachersIsaiah30:20.

Humanagents can feedapersonwith thebreadandwaterof affliction.Whensomeonelooksatyouandsayshehatesyoufornoreason,tothepointoffiringyoufromyourjob,heistryingtofeedyouwithbreadandwaterofafflictionofsorrow.JustaskingAhabpurposedtokeepProphetMicaiahinprisontoeatanddrink in agony for daring to prophesy by God, so also evil men try to makepeopleeatanddrinkinsorrow.MenalsocanbefedwiththebreadandwaterofafflictionbyGod,whentheychoosetoliveinsinanddisobedience.

Affliction isbitter.Allafflictionsarebitter.Butsatanandhishosts tryhard tomakeanafflictionverybitter.Bythetimetheadversaryandhishostshavegottheconditionofanindividualtoaverybitterlevel,onlyapersistentcryontotheLordcansavetheindividualfromcompletedestruction.

FortheLORDsawtheafflictionofIsrael, that itwasverybitter: fortherewasnotanyshutup,norany left,noranyhelper forIsrael. IIKings14:26.

Afflictionbinds:

Suchas sit in darkness and in the shadowof death, beingbound inafflictionandiron;Psalms107:10.

Jobwasboundintheafflictionofdiseaseandsorrowresultingfromthelossofhischildrenandallhisbelongings,untilGodintervened.Hannahwasboundintheafflictionofbarrenness,untilshecriedtotheLordandtheLordintervened.

TheboundsofafflictionmustbebrokeninthenameofJesus.Afflictionbringslow:

Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression,affliction,andsorrow.Psalms107:39.

TheafflictionthatcameagainstthelifeofJobbroughthimdownfromahighlyexaltedpositiontoapositionofirrelevanceanddishonor.AtonetimeJobsaidthatyoungchildrendespisedandspokeagainsthim—Job19:18.

Afflictionbringsintocaptivity:

Judahisgoneintocaptivitybecauseofaffliction,andbecauseofgreatservitude:shedwellethamongtheheathen,shefindethnorest:allherpersecutorsovertookherbetweenthestraits.Lamentation1:3.

Affliction canbeprojected and assigned.Thepredicaments that befell Job aregoodexamplesofhowsatancanassignandprojectafflictionagainstaperson.

Whoaretheotherprojectorsandassignersofaffliction?1.Demonsandevilspirits.2.Ancestralspirits.3.Environmentalspirits.4.Enviousfriends.5.Enviousfamilymembers.6.Witchesandwizards.7.Occultpersonalities.

WHATARETHEREASONSFORAFFLICTION?

YourrightstandingbeforetheLord.Apersoncanbeafflictedbecauseheisstanding rightbefore theLord. Jobwasagoodexampleof thiskindofunjustattack.

Your divine purpose or assignment in life. God told Jeremiah from thebeginningwhatshallbefallhimashewalksinobediencetoHim.ButJeremiahforgottoosoonwhenhelaterlamented

Shallevilberecompensedforgood?fortheyhavediggedapitformysoul.RememberthatIstoodbeforetheetospeakgoodforthem,andtoturnawaythywrathfromthem.Jeremiah18:20.

Yoursins

Foolsbecauseof their transgression,andbecauseof their iniquities,areafflicted.Psalms107:17.

Why criest thou for thineaffliction? thy sorrow is incurable for themultitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I havedonethesethingsuntothee.Jeremiah30:15.

HowdoesGodrespondtoaffliction?ThefaceoftheLordisupontheafflictionoftheafflicted.

Forhehathnotdespisednorabhorred theafflictionof theafflicted;neitherhathhehidhisfacefromhim;butwhenhecrieduntohim,heheard.Psalms22:24.

The Psalmistmakes us realise that God did not turn awayHis face from theafflicted.ThepersistentcryoftheafflictedalwayscomesbeforetheLord.AndHewillsurelyrespondandcomfort.

Godwillsavetheafflicted:

Forthouwiltsavetheafflictedpeople;butwiltbringdownhighlooks.Therearepeoplewhoareunderthesiegeofvariousafflictions.Psalms18:27.

ThewordofGodsaysthat.Hewillsavetheafflictedpeople.Hewillshieldyoufromwickedafflictionscurrentlybombardingyou.Hewillprotectyou.AllyouneedistocrytoHimandHewillsaveyou.

Goddeliversthosewhoareinaffliction:

He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears inoppression.Job36:15.

Perhapsyouhavebeenheldcaptivebythepowerofoneafflictionortheother,thereishopeforyou.ForthewordofGodsaysthat.Hedeliversthepoorinhisaffliction.Heisreadytodeliveryou,becausethewordofGodisGodHimself.God'spromisetotheafflicted.

What do ye imagine against theLORD?hewillmake an utter end:afflictionshallnotriseupthesecondtime.Nah1:9.

GodhaspromisedusinHiswordthatHeshallbringafflictiontoanimmediateend.Andthatitshallneverriseupagainthesecondtime.Amen.

HOWTOBREAKTHEBOUNDSOFAFFLICTION

Ifyouarelivinginsin,repent.ConfessyoursinsuntotheLord.

Lookuponmineafflictionandmypain;andforgiveallmysins.ObeythecommandmentsoftheLord.Psalms25:18.

Considermineaffliction,anddeliverme: forIdonot forget thy law.Psalms119:153.

UsethewordofGodtobreaktheboundsofaffliction.

Thisismycomfortinmyaffliction:forthywordhathquickenedme.Psalms119:50.

CRYUNTOTHELORD

Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:Psalms106:44.

ThenJonahprayeduntotheLORDhisGodoutofthefish'sbelly,Andsaid,IcriedbyreasonofmineafflictionuntotheLORD,andheheardme;out of thebelly ofhell cried I, and thouheardestmy voice. Jon

PraywarfareprayersaftertheorderofJeremiah.

Thensaidthey,Come,andletusdevisedevicesagainstJeremiah;forthelawshallnotperishfromthepriest,norcounselfromthewise,northe word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with thetongue,andletusnotgiveheedtoanyofhiswords.Giveheedtome,OLORD,andhearkentothevoiceofthemthatcontendwithme.Shallevilberecompensedforgood?fortheyhavediggedapitformysoul.RememberthatIstoodbeforetheetospeakgoodforthem,andtoturnawaythywrathfromthem.Thereforedeliveruptheirchildrentothefamine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and lettheirwivesbebereavedoftheirchildren,andbewidows;andlettheirmen be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword inbattle.Letacrybeheardfromtheirhouses,whenthoushaltbringatroopsuddenlyuponthem:fortheyhavediggedapittotakeme,andhid snares for my feet.
