Do you lead a round? 💪🏼Yes, but not always. If it’s a very early-stage round (<£200k), we normally lead. If we co-invest with a VC, they normally lead.What is the dynamic between the investors and the syndicate lead? ✋🏻The nominee investors are legally tied to any actions taken by the syndicate lead. Do you take board seats? 💺No, we believe it hampers early-stage growth, but we may take an observer role. However, if we follow another VCinto a deal, they may elect to have board seats. What terms do you have in your deals? 📋We keep things simple and primarily have standard drag & tag, good leaver/bad leaver provisions, founder vesting and pre-emption rights. We only do simple ordinary stock and have no preferred shares.
