The project involving three interdisciplinary research groups at the Instituto de Neurociencias de Alicante (Spain) will focus on the generation and exploitation of in vivo models of tumour growth, invasion, and metastasis using C. elegans, Drosophila, mice, and cell culture. The project will combine high throughput genetic screens, direct and reverse genetics, genomics, mouse transgenesis, and biochemical analysis. Applicants for the Postdoc Positions should hold a PhD degree in a life sciences subject and should have expertise involving the following profiles: Requirements Position 1: A solid background in Genetics and Cell Biology. Previous experience with large-scale RNAi screens in C.elegans will be highly valued. Position 2: Molecular biology of cancer, neurosciencies and mouse transgenesis. Position 3: Biochemistry, cell culture and co-immunoprecipiation techniques, in addition previous experience in two-photon and confocal microscopy will be positively considered. Predoctoral, and technician positions have no specific skill requirements but experience in genetics and/or cell culture will be positively considered. Recent publications Ferres-Marco et al.
