Good drying facilities are essensial forprocessing high quality cassava chips.Raised racks can be used to minimise therisk of soil and dust contaminiation. Theracks above are fitted with sun shadingnets in order to maximise the dryingspeed. Other materials as sisal cloth orplastic can be used depending ofavailiability and cost price of material.
Rural transport as part of a completepackage including a maize shellerpowered by the tractor engine and amouldboard plow for soil tillage. It canalso provide power to an irrigationpump.
