This bulletin presents an overview of the academic guidelines relating to various Post-

Graduate Course programme of the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT),

Bhubaneswar-3.

The authorities reserve the right to amend and alter the policies concerned with the academic

PROSPECTUS FOR THE SESSION, 2018-19

1 . ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

The Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) was established in the year 1962 in accordance

with the provision of the Orissa Act 20 of 1961 and is a State Agricultural University. It has the triple functions of

teaching, research and extension.

The University offers education at the undergraduate and post-graduate level in Agriculture, Veterinary Science

& Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Fishery Science, Community Science, Forestry, Basic

Science and Humanities. The University also offers education in Computer Science and Application, Bioinformatics and

Agri Business Management at Post Graduate level under self finance in semester system. Research and Extension

programmes are carried out at all agro climatic zones of the state comprising of the Regional Research and Technology

Transfer Station (RRTTS), Sub-Stations, All India Co-ordinated Research Projects (AICRPs), Krishi Vigyan Kendra

(KVKs) located in different parts of Odisha, besides the Central Research Station at Bhubaneswar.

Masters’ Programmes are offered in 16 disciplines in Agriculture, 16 disciplines in Veterinary Science and

Animal Husbandry, 03 disciplines in Agricultural Engineering and Technology, one discipline in Fishery Science, 03

disciplines in Home Science, 05 disciplines in Forestry faculties and 06 disciplines in C.B.Sc. & H. Three career oriented

Masters’ Programmes in Computer Science and Application, Bio-Informatics and Agri Business Management under the

Centre for Post Graduate Studies are also offered. Doctoral Programme in Course Credit System are available in 14

disciplines in Agriculture, 12 disciplines in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, 03 disciplines in Agril.

Engineering, one discipline in Fishery Science and 01 in Microbiology Ph.D. Programme is offered in College of Basic

Science and Humanities for which admission is being held separately.

2.2. Marks in qualifying examination

2.2.1 For Masters’ Programme : (a) Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree examination securing an Overall Grade Point Average(OGPA)

of at least 6.60/10.00 in ten point scale, 3.25/5.00 in five point scale, 2.60/4.00 in four point scale for General Category whereas for SC/ST/Physically Challenged (PC) candidates, the said requirement is an OGPA of at least 5.60/10.00, 2.75/5.00,2.20/4.00, respectively. In other cases, where grade points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General Category, whereas for SC/ST/PC Categories the requirements is 50% marks. (Please note that equivalence between OGPA and % marks will not be acceptable)

(b) 60% marks or OGPA of 6.60 in ten point scale for General Category and 50% or OGPA 5.6 in 10 point scale in the subject of study for SC/ST/Physically challenged (PC) categories.

2.2.2 For Doctoral Programme :

A candidate must have secured OGP in 10 point scale or 65% marks in Master’s Degree.

2.2.3 The requirement of minimum percentage of marks / OGPA /GPA as indicated above both in Master and Doctoral Programme shall not be applicable to State Government sponsored candidates, OUAT in-service candidates and foreign candidates sponsored by ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India. However, the minimum qualification for Masters’ and Ph.D programme will be Graduation in concerned discipline and Masters’ degree in concerned discipline respectively.

Foreign candidates without any fellowship from ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of

Govt. of India, can directly submit their applications to the University for admission provided

the candidate meet the eligibility criteria as per clause 2.2.3 of PG Prospectus and possess

valid documents with payment of fees as mentioned in Clause 15.1 of Prospectus.

2.3. Eligibility Criteria

2.3.1. Domicile requirements: i) Those who passed H.S.C. / Equivalent Examination without Odia as M.I.L. must submit the residential

Certificate. ii) Those who do not have Odia as M.I.L., but whose parents are permanent residents of Odisha must furnish

evidence of such permanent residency in the form of a certificate from the Revenue Officer concerned not below the rank of Tahasildar /District Magistrate/ their employer concerned ( as per clause 2.3(iii) ).

iii) Those who do not have Odia as M.I.L but whose parents are not permanent residents of Odisha, but serving under the Govt. of Odisha/Central Govt. /Public Undertaking or any University in the State of Odisha. The candidate must furnish a certificate to this effect from the Head of the Office /Institution where his/her parent(s) is/are working.

iv) Odia candidates permanently residing outside Odisha must furnish a certificate in support of their Odisha origin either from their Employer ( as per Clause 2.2(iii) ) / Tahasildar / District Magistrate of the District in which he/she is residing. Certificate to this effect can also be submitted from the Tahasildar / District Magistrate of their native place Odisha.

No affidavit for the above categories shall be entertained.

v) The above stipulations are not applicable to ICAR / DBT nominees / Foreign / NRI candidates. 2.3.2 In-service candidates who are not sponsored must furnish a permission letter/NOC from their immediate authority

along with the application form to appear the entrance examination. 2.3.3 Candidates must have passed the qualifying Examination prior to the date of entrance examination. However,

students continuing in final year of U.G. and P.G. course programme and satisfying the domicile requirements of Odisha are also eligible to appear at the Entrance Examination to be held on 01.07.2018.

3.1.1 When there is one seat for both SC & ST candidates the seats are allotted on alternate basis every year as specified in the prospectus.

3.1.2 The seats reserved for SC & ST candidates separately are not interchangeable.

3.1.3 Candidate seeking admission on cost sharing seats shall pay Rs.22,000/- per annum in addition to the fees mentioned under clause-13.

3.3 ICAR/DBT seats of Master and Doctoral courses falling vacant shall be de-reserved and filled up by unreserved

category candidates according to merit (Also see clause at 8.11 and 8.11a).

4. RESERVATION

4.1 Eight per cent (8%) of total seats are reserved for SC and twelve per cent (12%) for ST candidates. Five per cent

(5%) reservation for Physically Challenged candidates on total no of seats available faculty wise, subjected to

maximum one in each discipline.

4.2 Over and above the Intake capacity:

(a) One seat in each subject of M.Sc.(Ag.)/ M.V.Sc./ M.Tech.(Agril.Engg.)/ M.F.Sc. / M.Sc.(Fo)/ M.Sc.(Home

Science) for in-service candidates of OUAT

(b) Twenty seats not exceeding 02 in any subject of M.V.Sc. and 05 seats not exceeding one in each subject in

Ph.D. for State Government sponsored candidates in College of Vet. Science & A.H.

(c) Two seats for M.Sc. (Home Science) not exceeding one in each subject for State Government sponsored

candidates.

(d) Two seats for M.F.Sc. in Aquaculture for State Government sponsored candidates.

(e) Ten seats not exceeding two in each discipline of Masters’ Programme in Agriculture for the State

Government sponsored candidates.

(f) One seat for outside student (other state) for admission into Master’s and Ph.D Programme in

each discipline over and above the normal seat on cost sharing basis, subject to qualifying in P.G.

Entrance Examination. If the seat remains unfilled, it shall not be filled up by any other category.

(g) One seat kept for wards of the Kashmir migrants in each college.

(h) Two seats for the candidates of unreserved category for admission into M.Sc.(Ag.) in Seed

Science & Technology under cost sharing basis.

(i) Five seats for candidates of unreserved category and five seats for NRI candidates for admission

into M.Sc. in Agril. Bio-technology under cost sharing basis.

(j) One seat in each subject of Ph.D. for In-service candidates of OUAT.

(k) One seat for each subject of Masters’ or Doctoral programme is reserved for foreign candidates sponsored by ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India.If the seats remain unfilled, those seats shall not be filled up by any other catergories.

(l) Two seats in each PG Department for Masters’ Programme will be available under NRI Category

on cost sharing basis (fees as applicable to NRI candidates) except Agril. Bio-technology where

05 seats are reserved under NRI Category (please refer 4.2(i)).

4.3 In case of foreign candidates sponsored by the ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of

India, the deficient courses as decided by the advisor will have to be taken as remedial or prerequisite

courses.

5. HOW TO GET PROSPECTUS

5.1 The candidates desirous of appearing at the Masters/Doctoral Entrance Examination may visit OUAT Website

“www.ouat.nic.in” and “www. lokseba-odisha.in” with effect from 11.05.2018 to get the prospectus.

6. HOW TO APPLY

6.1 The candidates seeking admission into Masters’/Doctoral Programme 2018 in Agriculture and Allied Subjects

can apply online for admission in to Post Graduate courses under OUAT through www.ouat.nic.in or

https://www.lokaseba-odisha.in by clicking on a link “Submission of Online Application Form for

admission into Masters’/Doctoral Programme 2018 in (Agriculture and Allied Subjects)” from 11.05.2018

to 05.06.2018. At the time of submission of online application, the candidate has to fill in the particulars such as

correct Aadhaar number/Aadhaar Enrolment Number), e-mail ID, Mobile phone number., academic particulars

etc. and upload his/her recent passport size colour photograph (Height: 200px, width: 150px, file size: 20-50kb),

full signature (Height: 100px, width: 150px, file size: 10-20kb) in jpg/jpeg format and relevant documents in

jpeg/jpg format (size:100-200 kb) as per clause 6.7. The candidate is advised to link his/her “Aadhaar Number”

with correct mobile number which will be validated by an OTP to the entered mobile number as all information

regarding admission process will be sent as SMS to the registered mobile number. After submission of online

application, the candidate will receive a login ID, Password and application number by email and SMS to the

registered mobile number. The candidate has to pay Rs.1350.00 (Rupees one thousand two hundred fifty only)

for application fees to the University besides bank charges as specified by the Bank depending upon the mode of

payment selected through online payment gateway using internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card of any Bank.

Online submission and Payment in cash can also be made through Common Service Centre (Jana Seva Kendra).

Once candidate successfully pays the fee, he/she will receive a message confirming the acceptance of application

in mobile phone and also in e-mail. Fees, once paid, cannot be refunded under any circumstance. After

successful payment, the candidate can take printout of computer generated filled up Application Form with

payment details, which the candidate should retain for future reference.(For details please see Annexure-II)

Submission of application will be completed after successful payment. The candidate has to submit the

application online and attach the required documents with payment on or before the last date of

submission of application i.e. 05.06.2018 failing which the candidate will not be eligible to appear the

entrance examination and to admission.

The Admit Card has to be downloaded from OUAT website (www.ouat.nic.in) by clicking on a link “Download

Admit Card for PG/Ph.D. Entrance Examination-2018 and entering his/her Application Number, Mobile Number

and Date of Birth. The candidate can also download the Admit Card by logging in using his/her login ID and

Password in the website www.ouat.nic.in / https://www.lokasebaodisha.in in between to 20.06.2018 to

01.07.2018 (9.00 a.m.). The candidate must bring the Admit card with original identity proof to the Examination

Centre for verification.

N.B. : 1. The scanned photograph, full signature and scanned copy of the documents must be clearly

identifiable & visible. Otherwise, the application will not be accepted.

2. No correspondence on this account shall be entertained

6.2 A candidate is required to submit online only one application irrespective of the number of subjects for which he/she wishes to be considered indicating the OGPA / Percentage of marks secured in the qualifying degree examination and GPA / percentage of marks in the subject (s) in which he/she is interested to pursue Post-Graduate study.

6.3 Employees of OUAT desirous of prosecuting Masters’ / Ph.D. programme may apply to the Registrar along with their Bio-data/Service particulars and attested copies of Certificate and Mark sheet/Transcript of the qualifying degree examination through their respective Deans/ Directors on or before 01.07.2018 for consideration of their cases as in- service candidates.

6.4 The employees of State Govt. desirous of prosecuting Masters’ Programme as Sponsored candidate should submit their application form through their concerned head of office, so as to reach the Deans/Directors of the concerned faculty of the university by 01.07.2018.

6.5 Foreign candidates sponsored by ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India with scholarship, have to apply either through ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India, New Delhi or through the Indian Embassy in their country for consideration of their cases.

Foreign candidates without any fellowship from ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India, can directly submit their applications to the University for admission provided the candidate meet the eligibility criteria as per clause 2.2.3 of Prospectus.

6.6 The ICAR/DBT/ Foreign candidates sponsored by ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India/State Govt. and OUAT sponsored candidates selected against the reserve seats are required to pay the application fee and fill up the prescribed form at the time of admission.

6.7 Candidate are to upload the relevant documents while submitting the application form online as per the list

below.

i) SC/ST Certificate from Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahasildar incase of claim with clear cut indications of SC/ST category.

ii) Physically challenged certificate with minimum of 40 % disability and issued by the prescribed board. iii) In case of candidates not having Odia as MIL in Matriculation or its equivalent, true photocopy of

certificate of permanent residence of parents in Odisha as relevant in individual cases from the competent authority.

Scan copy of VISA & PASSPORT should be uploaded along with its English version issued by competent authority form respective embassy/ consulate. Those who submit online VISA (downloaded from internet) should ensure that it is countersigned by the embassy with entry records. The candidate should produce recent proof of Residentship of the NRI Sponsor such as Electric bill/ Telephone bill / Water bill etc. of the respective country where he/she is residing at present within last six month. A Non Resident Indian (NRI) can Sponsor only one candidate in an academic year.

v) The candidates have to submit a self declaration in support of his/her discontinuance of study, if any at the time of

admission. N.B. : All scanned uploaded documents should be clearly visible.

7. SELECTION OF CANDIDATES 7.1 The Admission Board with Dean, PGF-cum-DRI as Chairman and other members will conduct the admission

process as per the schedule specified at Cl. No. 19.

7.2 The selection for admission into different Masters’ or Doctoral programme will be based on merit of the candidates. There will be a common Merit List for admission in to Masters’ Programme of a Faculty. The merit list for admission into Doctoral Programme will be prepared discipline wise and selection will be made on the basis of merit.

7.3 Merit list of the candidates shall be drawn up on the basis of total weightage derived from the entrance marks plus the weightage on extracurricular activities. In case of tie in the total weightage for preparation of merit list, the tie will be resolved by considering the OGPA / Marks in the following order :

i) For Masters’ Programme : Highest Entrance Mark followed by highest OGPA in qualifying examination and

highest OGPA in concerned subject at U.G. level. ii) For Doctoral Programme : Highest Entrance Mark followed by highest OGPA in qualifying examination

7.4 Candidates seeking admission through ICAR PGS/JRF-SRF will be incentivized depending upon their merit list rank prepared by the ICAR. Those having rank in upper 10 percentiles (91-100 percentiles) will be given free accommodation in the first year and its’ continuation to 2nd year will be subjected to satisfactory academic performance in the first year. Candidates having rank between upper 10 to 20 percentiles (81-90 percentiles) will pay 50% of the accommodation cost.

7.5 Entrance Examination

7.5.1 All candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility as laid down under Clause 2 shall be called for Entrance

Examination on 01/07/2018. Candidates, possessing the valid Admit Card shall be allowed to appear the Entrance Examination along with Identity card.

7.5.2 There will be an Entrance Examination for admission into Masters’ and Doctoral Programmes. The Entrance Examination will be of 2 hours duration with 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each. There will be no negative marking for the current academic session 2018-19. For Masters’ and Doctoral Programme, the questions will be of multiple choice type covering the subjects taught in the Bachelors’ Degree level and Masters’ Degree (major discipline) respectively.

7.5.3 For M.Sc. (Ag) course programme, the question of entrance test will be comprised of two parts Part-A and Part-B. There will be 180 general multiple choice questions (Non-crop specific) in part-A and 40 crop specific (Field crop and Horticultural crops in equal proportion) questions in part-B following the common syllabi of Agriculture and Horticulture faculties. Candidates have to appear all the questions in part-A and any 20 questions from part-B. Based on total marks secured in the entrance test and extracurricular activities, a common merit list will be prepared for use in the admission process.

7.5.4 For B.Sc.(Hort.) students one seat in each of the Vegetable Science, Fruit Science and Horticultural Technology and Floriculture and Land Scaping departments will be kept reserved. Rest of the seats will be filled up through open competition following common general merit list as per clause at 7.5.3.

7.5.5 ICAR /DBT/ Departmental candidates sponsored by State Govt./Foreign Candidates sponsored by ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India and OUAT employees to be admitted as in-service candidates are exempted from appearing the Entrance Examination. All other categories of candidates including ICAR Fellowship holders are required to appear at Entrance Examination.

7.5.6 The foreign candidates either applying directly or applying through ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India without any fellowship are also exempted from appearing the Entrance Examination.

8. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

8.1 Admission into all Post-Graduate and Doctoral courses will be conducted centrally by the Admission Clause 19). 8.2 The Board following merit list in a phased manner as per the programme finalized by the Academic Council

(Refer provisional rank list of the candidates for admission will be available OUAT website www.ouat.nic.in. 8.3 In the event of any change in the scheduled date of admission the same will be notified in the notice boards of the

University and concerned Colleges and University web site for information of the candidates. 8.4 A candidate who fails to appear for admission on the scheduled date, time and place will automatically and

irrevocably forfeit his/her claim for admission. 8.5 The candidates coming for admission should bring with them all the original Certificates and Mark sheets /

Transcripts for verification. At the time of admission, they have to submit their College Leaving Certificate and Conduct Certificate (if the same is not mentioned in the C.L.C.) in original from the Head of the Institution last attended.

8.6 Candidates who passed their Bachelors’ degree from any university other than OUAT will have to submit their Migration Certificate within 3 months, failing which they will not be allowed to appear the final examination of

1st semester of 1st year Masters’ Degree. 8.7 Candidates who fail to submit their College Leaving Certificate / Conduct Certificate will be provisionally

admitted and will be allowed ten working days following the date of admission on an undertaking for submission of such documents failing which their provisional admission will be cancelled if not decided otherwise. Candidate coming from Universities outside the State of Odisha will be allowed for this purpose, fifteen working days following the date of admission on the same condition as above.

8.8 The employees of Govt./OUAT or any other Organizations will be admitted into P.G. Courses on submission of No Objection Certificate (NOC) from appropriate authority. They will furnish an undertaking in prescribed proforma at Annexure-VI to submit their relive orders within 15 days from the date of admission at the latest, failing which their provisional admission will be cancelled if not decided otherwise.

8.9 All candidates selected for admission into Master and Doctoral Course Programme shall submit the Medical Fitness Certificate in prescribed form at the time of admission.

8.10 In case the candidate for admission is found to have indulged in ragging in the past, admission will be refused. 8.11 At the time of admission in Masters’ & Doctoral course(s), if ICAR seats are not filled up, the same will be

dereserved and will be filled up by the state students having fulfilling the requirements as general state candidates. In case, the dereserved ICAR seats are not filled up by the general state candidates, the same may be filled up by outside the state candidates. In such case preference will be given to those students who completed their master’s degree programme from this University but belonging to other state, such candidates should produced a domicile certificate from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahasildar of the concerned state.

8.11(a) At the time of admission in M.Sc.(Ag.) Biotechnology, if DBT seats are not filled up, the same will be dereserved and will be filled up from among general candidates of OUAT merit list on Cost Charing basis.

8.12 Candidates shall give an undertaking in the prescribed pro-forma available at Annexure-VII at the time of admission to refund the scholarship, fellowship, etc. if he/she receives any from this University in the event of his/her discontinuing study before completion. However, a student discontinuing his/her study to take admission in some other Institution will not be required to refund the above amount but the name of the Institution where he/she will continue his/her study will be indicated in the C.L.C.

9. ACADEMIC SYSTEM 9.1 Duration of Courses 9.1.1 A Masters’ Degree Programme is a full time study of two years which includes both course work and research for

thesis. The maximum permissible period for completion of a Masters’ degree is four consecutive years for direct students and six consecutive years for in- service students.

9.1.2 A Doctoral Programme is a full time study of three years which includes both course work and research for thesis. The maximum permissible period for completion of the Course is six consecutive years for direct students and eight consecutive years for in-service students.

9.1.3 An academic year consists of two semesters each having minimum duration of 110 working days consisting of 95 Net Instructional Day (NID) and 15 examination days.

9.2 Course Programme, Instruction and Evaluation 9.2.1 The Instruction is offered in English under course-credit system. Each course is divided into distinct course units

of major or core and supporting or minor courses. Each student admitted into a course programme shall take courses as per the plan of course programme suggested by the student advisory committee.

9.2.2 The performance of the students for each course unit shall be evaluated in terms of Assignment, mid-term, theory / practical examination, and final theory and / or practical examination on a 10 point scale. All students admitted into PG or Ph.D. course programme shall submit thesis after completion of course programme.

9.2.3 A student is required to have a minimum of 85% attendance in each course failing which he \ she shall not be allowed to appear at the Final Examination and will be detained in that semester, subject to Regulation for condonation up to 15% by the respective Dean/Director.

9.2.4 The student admitted into any of the Masters’ or Doctoral Programme shall be guided by the P.G. Semester Regulation, 2011.”

10. HOSTEL AND MEDICAL FACILITIES 10.1 Hostel accommodation shall be provided to all P.G. and Ph.D students on merit basis subject to availability of seats.

After admission, the students shall apply to the Dean, Students’ Welfare (DSW) through the concerned Dean/ Director of the college for their stay in a hostel. However, a student whose parents are staying at Bhubaneswar may be allowed by the DSW for permission to stay outside the hostel during the course of his/her study. But in the case of foreign students, no such permission will be granted. The students desirous to stay outside the hostel shall obtain a Day Scholar Certificate from the Dean, Students’ Welfare.

10.2 The University runs a Dispensary manned by experienced doctors and it provides outdoor treatment to students of the University.

11. STUDENT ACTIVITIES 11.1 The students’ union comprising of students’ representatives is formed every year at each College level to organize

cultural / athletic / sport activities. The students are also allowed to participate in various inter-college and inter-university competitions at state and national level to show their performances in extracurricular activities.

11.2 Students’ Welfare: The Dean of Students’ Welfare looks after accommodation and the extracurricular activities of the students. The University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau acts as a useful channel of communication between the students and employment organizations.

12. STUDENT DISCIPLINE A student, whether a boarder or day scholar, shall abide by the disciplinary rules and Regulations of the Hostel,

College and the University and shall not involve himself / herself in any objectionable conduct such as violation of hostel discipline, disobedience of instructions of hostel authorities, immoral conduct or disorderly behaviour including “Ragging”. In case a student is found to be involved in any of the above undesirable activities, he / she shall be liable for expulsion from the hostel and if the offence is grave, also from the College. The expulsion from the hostel shall be ordered by the Dean, Students’ Welfare with the concurrence of the Dean of the concerned Faculty and expulsion from the College shall be under the orders of the Vice-Chancellor.

16. REFUND OF FEES

A candidate once admitted to a course shall not be eligible to get refund of the fees except caution

money deposits. In case a student is promoted to the next semester on academic probation and is found

Instruction for submission of online Application Form for Admission into Masters’ and Doctoral Course Programme 2018-19

There are three steps in applying :

1. Fill up the online application.

2. Make payment (Through online payment gateway).

3. Attach necessary documents.

OR

The Candidate can also apply online through the Common Service Centre located at nearest

area by making payment through cash

Take a Print out of Application Form with payment details and documents uploaded for future

reference.

The candidate will get messages confirming the acceptance of his application on the

mobile and e-mail.

Prior to filling the application, please scan and keep the following materials ready :

a. Candidate’s recent colour passport size photo (height: 200px, width: 150px, file size: 20-50kb)

b. Candidate’s full signature (height: 100px, width: 150px, File size: 10 - 20kb) Please use only

jpg/jpeg format for photo and signature.

How to fill the form :

1. Read the PG/Ph.D Prospectus 2018-19 carefully and follow the instructions there in

while filling the application form. The candidate can have access to the Application Form

by visiting the website www.ouat.nic.in or https://www.lokaseba-odisha.in clicking on a link

“Submission of Online Application Form for Admission into Masters’ & Doctoral

Programme – 2018 (Agriculture and allied subjects)”.

2. The candidate has to enter the correct mobile number and validate it through OTP generated

in the mobile number. Mobile number validation is important because all communication

regarding admission will be sent as SMS to the valid mobile number entered by the candidate.

The candidate should not change the mobile number till the end of Admission process.

3. The candidate must have Aadhaar Card. Aadhaar number/enrollment number is mandatory to

submit the online Application Form.

4. Please fill up all details mentioned in the online application Form.

5. Select the claim for category : PH, NRI, others state, in service candidates

NB: PH-Physical Handicapped, NRI- Non Resident Indian.

6. The candidates are advised to enter the required details in Academic achievement carefully

for Bachelors’ Degree and Masters’ Degree)

7. Candidate must click on self-declaration. By clicking this, the candidate is accepting that all

the information he/she has submitted are true, and he/she will be responsible for any false or

misleading information. Any false information submitted may make the application liable for

rejection.

8. After that, please click on ‘’Register and Proceed’’ button at the bottom. You will receive a

login ID, password and application No. on your mobile and e-mail ID. Also, the progress page

will appear showing application number and steps to be completed. On proceed three tabs will

appear (view application, upload relevant documents and make payment for necessary action

by the applicant.

9. The application fee of Rs.1350/- per application can be paid besides bank charges as

specified by the Bank depending upon the mode of payment selected through online payment

gateway using Internet Banking / Debit Card/ Credit Card of any bank. Payment can also be

made through nearest Common Service Centre (Jana Seva Kendra) in cash mode.

10. Fees, once paid, cannot be refunded back to candidates under any circumstances.

11 Candidates must submit the application with application Fee and attach the relevant

documents within the last date of submission of application form i.e 05.06.2018.

12 After successful payment, the candidate should take printout of computer generated filled in

application Form with payment details.

13. You must have your own personal e-mail ID and Mobile Number with validity till the

completion of the Admission process, all important information on login ID, password, application

number, various alerts and download of Admit card, provisional weightage, final weightage, rank

and Intimation-cum-rank card and other necessary information will be sent to you only by SMS

and email. Under no circumstances, you should share the password of your e-mail ID and

Mobile/Cell Number with any other person. If you do not have a valid e-Mail ID, please create a

new e-Mail ID.

You will be provided with a login ID and password to login on to the website www.ouat.nic.in/

https://www.lokaseba-odisha.in for all future references.

Your Admit Card, rank and intimation-cum-rank card can be accessed online by using the

links provided in the website www.ouat.nic.in / https://www.lokaseba-odisha.in. No separate

physical communication would be sent.
