www.rotaryinstitute.org.nz Combined D9940 Conference -Zone 7b/8 Institute Thanks for the part you played! Thank you for attending last weekend's Combined Zone Institute/District 9940 Conference. It was a thrill to see so many people together at the same time in the amazing Michael Fowler Centre and then to look out over the crowd at the Saturday evening dinner where we were close to full capacity. I am particularly grateful to see so many from Australia attending and obviously enjoying themselves. As I said in the opening having a Zone Institute of Australia and New Zealand and combining it with a District Conference is quite unique. In fact we believe that this is the first time ever across the Rotary world that this has happened. Feedback I have received from the District attendees suggests that they enjoyed the opportunity to meet Rotarians from across the two countries and also to listen to and meet speakers of the calibre including the President Elect, Trustee and our Zone Director, which they would not normally meet! While it is fresh in your minds may I ask a favour please? I have attached a short survey which I believe will help future Institutes and Conferences ensure they remain relevant to what members want? If you could click on the attached link . Thank you again. Without you the weekend wouldn't have been the same!! Best wishes for a relaxing Christmas and a New Year the way you want it!! Combined D9940 Conference -Zone 7b/8 Institute
Thanks for the part you played!
Thank you for attending last weekend's Combined Zone
Institute/District 9940 Conference. It was a thrill to see so many
people together at the same time in the amazing Michael Fowler
Centre and then to look out over the crowd at the Saturday
evening dinner where we were close to full capacity.
I am particularly grateful to see so many from Australia attending
and obviously enjoying themselves. As I said in the opening
having a Zone Institute of Australia and New Zealand and
combining it with a District Conference is quite unique. In fact we
believe that this is the first time ever across the Rotary world that
this has happened. Feedback I have received from the District
attendees suggests that they enjoyed the opportunity to meet
Rotarians from across the two countries and also to listen to and
meet speakers of the calibre including the President Elect, Trustee
and our Zone Director, which they would not normally meet!
While it is fresh in your minds may I ask a favour please? I have
attached a short survey which I believe will help future Institutes
and Conferences ensure they remain relevant to what members
want? If you could click on the attached link.
Thank you again. Without you the weekend wouldn't have been

"The ambiance of the TSB arena was simply
staggeringly beautiful, the food was outstanding, and
the service and staff top-line."
"Now I am back home and I have had time to reflect
on your conference, I would like to take this
opportunity to congratulate you and your committee
on putting together a fabulous educational and fun
conference. The conference rates in the top few that I
have attended during my life on the road."
"The feedback I've heard on the whole weekend has
been outstanding. So congratulations to all involved."
"The Conference went off brilliantly. Planning,
planning and more planning made this a successful
event. From a first-time attendee, well done! I for
one had a great time, listened to some excellent
speakers and meet a lot of great Rotarians.
“Enthused” would be the one word I would describe
what I came away with.
"It was one of the most enjoyable times we have had
this year and we were not going to miss it for
anything".
