I congratulate Nispana for successfully hosting the 2nd Annual Offshore Security in Oil & Gas Africa in Lagos. Securing Africa’s offshore frontiers is critical for the region’s fast-growing oil and gas industry. The event presented a veritable platform to discuss one of the most troubling security challenges in our contemporary history.I enjoyed all the presentations and addresses and look forward to attending the next edition. It is a worthy cause for which I pledge my full support and urge relevant authorities and institutions in the region to offer their backing as well.

- Chief Dr. John Ekere Etim, President Ikot Ekpene Chamber of Commerce and industry, Mines & Agriculture

This Summit was an eye opener to many attendees including me, revealing how Nigeria is loosing a lot in the maritime sector of the economy. Of which if properly harness with serious collaboration among the key players and security the Country stand to gain more. It will even create employment for our teaming youths. I shall be grateful if the communique of the summit is made available to Nigerian Government to study and implement. We were very happy to be part of the Summit with great knowledge gained. Once again thank you for organizing this summit.

- Jombo Boloubo, Marine Environment Management Officer, NIMASA

The summit was a success from my own point of view because the organizers packaged it with the right set of resource persons who were able to identify key issues and points that contribute greatly to the issue of security as relates to Nigeria and Ghana Territorial Waters and the Gulf of Guinea at large. I went home with the understanding that there is a need to strengthen and synergies bilateral partnerships with other nations to combat the issues of pirate as relates to our territorial water to encourage more investment opportunities. Also, private security organizations should involve & to work greatly with Government Agencies who have the statutorily responsibility in ensuring the safety of life and assets of investors around the nations territorial waters.

““
