Michael Jackson as Constructions According to Richard Dyer pop stars are constructed as an artificial

image, which means that even if they are represented as being "real people“ They have something that will always be remembered by the public e.g. The White Glove was used alongside Michael Jackson performing the moon walk which was the most popular dance at the time and is still popular now. They could even be copied or parodied because of it as they have become famous and popular to the world that one move and piece of outfit which is known to be a USB is used as a construction.

Ideology and Culture Richard Dyer says the ideology

and culture of a pop star is that they make money out of audiences, who respond to various elements of a star persona by buying records and becoming fans. Michael Jackson had a controversy of stories that involved him to be a rapist and with the terrible skin condition he received it was as if they used this to wreck his reputation, although he was successful towards his previous albums as the dances and his voice was so talented attracted a lot of people to become fans of his music. It also inspired other artists to be as good as Michael Jackson was.

Industry and Audience Richard Dyer also quoted that Stars are the cogs around

which a plethora of record company gears find themselves turning. Which mean that record companies value and profile their stars in a certain way to make the artist more likeable. Yes the industry would use what they think would make Michael Jackson so popular other than using his music skills to promote his music e.g. Michael Jackson dancing by grabbing his crotch and stands on his toes was a trending topic plus trending dance move that was spread rapidly around the but also the audience can help to gain awareness by creating parodies in films, videos and pictures which would relate to Michael Jackson.
