POSITIVE SELF-TALK • Do you ever have a bad day and end up blaming yourself? Or do you tell yourself, “Tomorrow I will make better choices and be more positive.” • Positive Self-Talk is when you communicate with yourself in a way that helps you get through a difficult situation. o Example: When something negative happens to you and you think positively instead of getting sad or angry. • When you look at things in a positive way, it makes a BIG difference in how you feel • Learning positive self-talk is difficult at first, but just remember: o Stop yourself from saying things like “I can’t” or “I never” o Start saying things like “I am, I can, and I will” • This activity will show you how to talk positively.
