Positive Parenting is an area of great concern in the modern world. It will be helpful to start with a Biblical citation:

“…And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you rise…..” Dt. 6: 6-7

PRACTICAL TIPS• Teach your children simple facts of faith

as early as possible to know, love and thank God.

• Be willing to forgive your children and be forgiven

• Encourage and support your children to join church movement

• Train your children to respect authority

• Make your home a little recreation centre

• Keep communication lines with your children

• Show them how and play can be prayer.

• Help them to offer up suffering and grow in habits of holiness
