Dear Parents and Carers On behalf of the staff I would like to
wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope you have a lovely holiday
with your loved ones. This year has been particularly difficult for
all and I thank each and every one of you for the support and
understanding you have given us during this time. It has been an
absolute pleasure watching your children learn and grow throughout
the year and it will certainly be one we never forget. I hope 2021
brings us a more settled time where we can welcome you all back
onto the school grounds. Thank you for the kind words said about
our Presentation Day recording despite the technical issues at
first and we have now (after many hours) managed to get it to you
through School Stream. We know that a recording of Presentation Day
was not ideal, rather than attending in person, however we hope
that by accessing the recording you will be able to share these
memories forever with your children. Please enjoy the photos also
captured on the day. To the Year 6 students, I wish you all the
very best for High School. It has been wonderful to get to know you
over the past 18 months and look forward to hearing about your
future endeavours. On behalf of the staff, farewell and good luck
as they have watched you over the past seven years with great
pride. We hoped you had fun at your farewell and the different
events that were planned especially

The Qwest futsal team has been playing every Monday for the past
8 weeks. The team included Anthony, Ambrose, Alex, Harry Brydie,
Kaleigh and Ruby. We played 8 games unfortunately we didn’t win any
we’ve had a great time playing and being taught the rules of
futsal. Some games were tough, we took each loss but came back
every week smiling to have another go. Anthony received the coach
award for best all-rounder as he played goalie rotating out with
Alex and Ambrose. Ambrose also received an award for excellent team
coordinating, encouraging and sharing his knowledge of the rules
everyone. Kaleigh won 2 novelty events with best crazy sock and
best dance competitions. Brydie and Harry both won best crazy hair.
Alex and Harry placed some excellent goals and each player assisted
with at least one goal each across the competition. Ruby played
each game with enthusiasm and marked up players at every
opportunity. The team had fantastic sportsmen’s ship and followed
the Qwest motto “nothing but the best” as they gave it everything
every week. I would like to thank the kids for great team work.
Thank you parents who encouraged and supported your child/ren. If
you are in Yr 5 or 6 in 2021 and you would like to play please
speak with Ambrose, Harry or Alex. We need a team of 8. Kim Holden
