This role is responsible for launching a brand-new SharePoint site for CU Engage credit unions! CU 360 will be the hub for all things CU Engage – access to projects, collaboration tools, marketing support, news feeds etc. This person will be responsible for planning and implementing upgrades, integrations, and enhancements to the SharePoint environment. In addition, the SharePoint Administrator works with department leaders and credit union clients to design and construct sites that improve communication and access to information. The SharePoint Administrator collaborates on the design and implementation of educational materials to teach CU Engage employees how to use SharePoint to improve their day to day activities. The SharePoint Administrator builds workflows, develops customizations and scripts to automate business processes to improve consistency and efficiency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage the SharePoint infrastructure in an Azure environment ensuring patches and system backups are up-to-date. • Ensure SharePoint database maintenance plans are in place. • Work with internal partners to create SharePoint workflows that improve efficiency • Provide training and lead workshops to demonstrate and teach employees how to use SharePoint features and functionality • Review and refine the features in SharePoint to ensure users can quickly find the information they need when utilizing SharePoint’s search • Provide development on SharePoint customization projects and integrating data from outside sources • Develop test scripts to ensure new functionality is working appropriately • Develop a process for monitoring and reviewing the usage of SharePoint sites • Drive adoption and utilization of SharePoint throughout CU Engage, clients and vendors • Writes and updates design documents for new enhancements and features • Develops and maintains relationships with industry peers, groups and organizations to keep abreast of regulatory, business and technology changes and industry trends to ensure compliance and timely implementation of new best practices and technologies • Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies
