Create two different Org Unit
Steps to create Organisation Unit
T - PPOME
Under Corporate I will be creating two different Org Units
1) SALES UNIT
2) PAYROLL UNIT
On the above screen Select Corporate and click on create as shown below
Click Is Line Supervisor of
At the bottom of the screen provide the Basic Data
Save
Same steps for creating Org Payroll Unit
Now we have created two Org Units as shown below
Now I will be creating positions in two Org units
Steps to create a position -
Name of the Position Sales Rep
T - PPOME
Select the Org Unit (SALES UNIT) click create
We get the below popup
Click Incorporates
We can now see that the new position is created as shown below for which we have to give the Basic Data
Populated Basic Data as shown below
Save
Now create new position Payroll Rep in Payroll Unit following the above steps.
In the above screen Staffing Status is not assigned which means the position is vacant
Now create 2 users sales and payroll and assign to respective positions
Steps to assign users to positions
T - PPOME
Expand User
click Search Term Search for the user which we want to assign to position
I am assigning User sales to position Sales Rep
Select the User as shown
Drag it to the position
Click Yes
We can see that the user sales is assign to Position Sales Rep
In the above screen that the Staffing Status is now C Vacancy Occupied
Now assign user PAYROLL to position Payroll Rep following the same steps
Save
We have two users assigned to two different Positions in two different Org Units
ROLE assignment to the Position
*****First time Role assignment to the position*****
T - PFCG
CHANGE Mode
User Tab
Click Organizational Mgmt
Click Create Assignment
Select Position and click OK
OK
select the position from the list
Click
Now we can see that the indirect Role assignment has been done
In the above screen Reconciliation of Indirect user assignment is required Click or
Back
Click Yes

Execute the below Jobs

Now if a New Employee joins in the same position as Sales Rep
Steps to copy a position
T - PPOME
Select the position which we want to copy and click on
We get the below popup in which we can give the
1) Number of copies of position to be created2) Start Date and End Date
Now we can see a new position is created as a copy of Sales Rep
In the above step it's just the position which has been copied to give the same access execute the below jobs in the system
New Employee is assigned to the same new position which is the copy of existing position
I have created and assign user SALES1 to the new position

Execute the jobs

If user sales1 is also working on position sales rep

When an employee changes its position to another
User Sales changed from Position of Sales Rep to Payroll Rep
