HOW TO INTEGRATE THE VPP WITH POS.DIGITAL USING THE HDMI SWITCH?

CONNECT THE POS.DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYER

Connect the POS.Digital HDMI output to the HDMI 2 input. The HDMI cable is part of the media player bundle.

CONNECT THE VPP WORKSTATION

Connect the VPP output to the HDMI switch using the HDMI 1 port.

The HDMI cable and DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter have to be purchased locally.

With the HDMI switch bundle comes a RS232 cable.

Use this cable to connect the VPP RS232 port to the HDMI switch‘s RS232 port.

FINALIZE THE INSTALLATION

Connect HDMI output port to the Large Format Display using the HDMI cable.

Connect the power supply to the HDMI switch.

Step 1Connect the POS.Digital HDMI output to the HDMI 2 input. The HDMI cable is part of the media player bundle.

Step 6Use the SELECT button to manually switch between VPP (HDMI 1) and POS.Digital (HDMI 2) during setup and testing.During normal operation this will be done automatically.

Step 3With the HDMI switch bundle comes a RS232 cable. Use this cable to connect the VPP RS232 port to the HDMI switch‘s RS232 port.

Step 4Connect HDMI output port to the Large Format Display using the HDMI cable (not part of the bundle).
