Profiles There is an art to the interview and its faithful

In my many profiles, I have interviewed architects, writers, interior designers, poets, politicians, craftspeople, chefs, museum curators, graphic designers, landscape architects, artists -- and dozens of others.

Food and Travel

Exhaustive research and unfailing accuracy are givens in good travel writing. However, the best writing creates a unique sense of place that transcends the compendium of facts. In my work as a writer, researcher and editor of travel guidebooks, I infuse the printed word with energy, wit, and a knowledgeable voice; my guides are indispensable companions for hundreds of thousands of travelers.
