The project was accomplished as a competition entry for Nrutowicza Square in Warsaw. Proposed residential buildings continue the unfinished intention of early XX century urban conception, exposing the existing church and
main composition axes.Restaurants and services arranged
at the groundfloor attract people. Most of the existing greenery is preserved and used as a main element of public space
arrangement.

JACEK KWIECIŃSKI
I was born in Leżajsk - a small town in south-east of Poland
on 14th April 1988.I moved to Warsaw in age of 15 to become of rockstar, but it didn’t work out somehow (rather because of my congenital shyness than the
bad of luck).
My approach to design is rather functional and logical than expresive, nevertheless I alaways try to involve my “artisitic” side into the design
process.I personally thnk that in the fileld architecture, like in the music, the ornamentation and virtuosity can only be appreciated as an addition to overall harmony, rhythm and consequence. Therefore no music as well as no architectural piece can be truly accomplished without the deep understanding of all the
composition elements. For me the most fascinating aspect of archtecture is materiality and humans‘ ability of joining elements. Especialy handicraft and traditional building techniques but also modern
timber and steel contsructions.
Besides of architecture I spend most of my time playing the guitar, travelling and exploring new places.
I hope you enjoyed viewing.
