It will make a parallel between

peculiar characteristics of

navigators life at the boat and

all technology used along the

race at global scale, with the

most recent techniques of in-

formation and education in

order to transmit sustainable

best practices to visitors and

local population.

For this project it will be de-

signed a articulated structure

composed by 6 containers, dis-

tributed since the event spot till

the end of Cabeçudas Beach

Seafront. Itch container it´s an

unique attractive itself, cause it

suggests a reflection about

navigators everyday life chal-

lenges in addition to refer to

sustainable elements.

These containers still refer to the

singularities of Itajaí municipality re-

flected on race boats different sus-

tainable practices. As the contain-

ers are easily articulated, after the

event, it will be grouped strategi-

cally on the city so that it will be-

came the Volvo Ocean Race Envi-

ronmental Education Core, turned

to spread sustainable actions and

practices to the local community.
