To Whom It May Concern:

It is with pleasure that I write this recommendation letter for Caryn Auriel. Caryn was an Intern for me at Spring Lake Park High School in the Family and Consumer Sciences Department for a part of the 2004-05 school year.

Caryn was able to assist me in my Foods classes and in my Child Development class. She also helped students in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) with their Star Events (competition projects). I always found Caryn very willing to do the things that were asked of her. Some of the things that Caryn assisted me with included: setting up for lab experiences, working on bulletin boards, helping students with projects and assisting with FCCLA. Caryn would always be on time and prepared to work. She followed through with what was given to her. She was especially helpful to one FCCLA member that was competing in Career Investigation. Caryn had excellent knowledge and resources to help the student complete a portfolio for this competition.

The skills that Caryn gained and/or strengthened by being an intern with me were: organization, cooperation, leadership, responsibility, the importance of a good work ethic and an overall personal and professional growth.

Caryn will do well working with and for others. She has a caring and kind nature. She works hard to do her best and puts forth her best effort.

If there is anything else that you would like to know about Caryn and/or her internship experience, please-don't hesitate to contact me. I can be reached at the school address listed above or at this phone number: 763-786-5571 extension 5164.

Sincerely,

Lori Henry Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher
