ORIGINS

A highly skilled team of people draws upon experiences from many walks of life including the worlds of Mega Yachts, Luxury residences and prestigious cruise vessels. We use sophisticated advanced techniques of visualization and the art of mixing traditional techniques with 3D and 2D computer generated images. Our computer programs come from the movies world, including D modeling, virtual animation and special effects. We also have an exceptional partnership with selected Italian craftsmen and manufacturers who have been working with us for a long time. Thanks to all these synergies, FM is able to offer a “turnkey solution”. We offer a complete projectmanagement service that goes beyond the limits of traditional interior design. Our approach allows us to mastermind entire projects from conception to completion. FM Design & Project Management process divides each project into key steps; Briefing, Concept Sketches, Detailed Design, Furniture Design, Procurement, Construction and Fit-out and Final dressing. The specific nature of each project determines how these single steps are relevant to each project, their contribution to the final result and the way they have to be combined.

Aimé Césaire, Cahier

Francesca Muzio has over 14 years experience in Interior Design, during which she has managed projects in Italy, France, Russia, Greece, Bahrein, Turkey. She has been creating a design that reflects the client’s lifestyle and expectations, with design budgets from 3 million to 115 million Euros.After her MSc Architecture studies at Genoa University and Barcelona, she earned a postgraduate Master in Business Administration and Marketing from Alma Mater University of Bologna.In 1994 she joined ‘5+1 Architetti Associati’ and worked in collaboration with Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Atelier Chaix et Morel et Rudy Ricciotti as well as residential and commercial design projects worldwide.In 1997, she moved to P&O Princess Cruises Los Angeles to join the interior design practice of Arch. Giacomo Mortola where she worked on major projects for magnificent cruise vessels. In 2001, she joined CRN- Custom Line Ferretti-Group to experience further projects in super yacht design, where she had been working as Creative Director of Interior Design Department for almost 10 years. Having worked for CRN and Custom Line, she has managed the design and construction of 112 among of the most prestigious super yachts in the world. She has developed close working relationships with high profile owners, specialist suppliers, craftsmen and artisans worldwide and has acquired knowledge of all the aspects of the Interior Design industry.

Maria Silvia Orlandini has grown her creative talent with her family, which has a very long tradition in Italian Design and craftsmanship. Her family brand “Cantori” boasts, since its origins, extensive know-how and solid marketing awareness, capturing large market shares in Italy and abroad. There is where she has grown, in its day-to-day operations, since her early age.In 1999 she graduated with honors in Philosophy, having focused her field of study in hermeneutic and psychology of language and in 2002 she completed her studies in Visual Arts at Accademia di Belle Arti.After her experience in two renowned Art galleries, in 2002 she joined CRN Ancona, where she devoted her talent to the style and decoration of many magnificent mega yachts and she developed close working relationships with major architects, specialist suppliers, craftsmen and artisans worldwide developing a prodigious knowledge of all aspects in the luxury industry.

In FM we choose not to adopt a style, which is recognizable as our "signature".
