Train railway creates boundary so military part is isolated from the left.
Brothel part is insecure part of the site but opposite is military so here is secure for everyone.
Military part is desolated part of the site because there is no entry to there. Other parts are crowded.
It is difficult to reach left part of railways because that military part is inac-cessible.
Right part of railways has heterogenous program-matic relations. Left part is more homogenous.

Section
There were 2 containers for creating resting and working spaces.
Orchard view is the reason of these containers arrangements.
By puttıng the short edge of the container to the wind direction,
long edge of working space has faced with north direction. Liv-
ing unit’s direction is towards to south. Shading elements turns
into the stairs to create the circulation and also turns into con-
tainers to be used like furnitures.

Visual Story Telling of Tattoos
This visual story telling building is designed with the
concept of “Tattoo on Skin”. Tattoo is one of the way
to represent visual stories. Each tattoo has differ-
ent meanings and stories. This retail building consist
of presentation rooms, seminar rooms, classrooms,
shops and open space cafes. Main access to this build-
ing is provided from the bus stop which is proposed
in Master Plan with the help of pathways. Façade has
designed according to Tattoo idea. White panels rep-
resent the skin, blacks represents tattoos on skins.

Sun Scape and Moon Scape Plaza
This Plaza based on 4 different types of feelings which are smell-
ing (the sea), hearing (the trees), seeing (thevistas) and touch-
ing (the sand). Events are represented with these collages. Main
activity is focused in the center of this plaza. People are coming
together for enjoying themselves. Resting area’s façades are com-
ing from the leaf printing with ink.

Shelter for Phaetons
For 2 weeks grasshopper workshop, we de-
signed a shelter for phaetons in Izmir. First of
all we tried to understand their roots and their
needs. After understanding these, location of
this shelter was chosen which is Gündoğdu
Square in Izmir, Alsancak. Big monument in the
existing site has used as a structural element.

For 2 weeks workshop, we researched the history of Izmir city.
Focus of this project is the coastline of Izmir. Sea pollution
increased in a time. This changes had shown with different
layers of sea with the old photos of coastline. Other caution is
air population which changes from the industrial zone to com-
mercial zone.

Main aim of this workshop is to create techtonic/s for people by using the
materials and their characteristic. The interaction between materials char-
acteristic of Z1 and Z2 and their nature will organise spatial voids in the
“0” environment in between.

With the help of Grasshopper, installation was designed. This
installation used as a projection of fashion show. Construction was
completed by using different angle brackets like 90 degree and 60
degree.

Writing the waffle definitions on
grasshopper, this furniture has
designed. After calculating the
materials thickness, joint parts
drawn carefully. Each part was
carved by hand. This furniture
can be used as a seating or cabi-
net.
