  • Art plays a great role in my life. It is my connection with an outer world where everything is possible. My love for painting and drawing was the first step in to my love of Architecture and design. Throughout my designs I aim to create something unusual and propose new concepts that can either solve a humane problem and add to the human so-ciety. I present to you a collection of my past projects that I have created throughout five years of Architecture.

    Montessori School 01

  • Synopsis:

The main goal of this project is to create a detailed construction document. The structure of the project is mainly curved on the exterior which represented chal-lenge in terms of construction documents. An elevated platform that flows through the separate structures to connect them has been designed to create a direct connection with the beach visually.

    2

  • The form of the school is composed of sev-eral clusters that are connected through an elevated wooden platform. It penetrates through the buildings and takes the people inside and outside the buildings.

  • The platform creates a n interactive vision experience for the children from all levels and throughout all interior spaces. The space created among the clusters allows the floor of the sea breeze throughout the full structure.

  • The aim of the project is to encourage people to walk and get out of their homes. It helps them have a healthy life style while spending a good time with their friends and families. Outdoor walkways and bridges have been designed and filled with plantation and greenery to provide an easier energetic flow.

  • Strings of Rhythm 03

    21

  • Synopsis:

This form has been chosen due to the shape of the site and the idea of strings of musical instruments. The classrooms are not typical enclosed classes; they are open to several courtyards connecting them. The ambi-ance of the classrooms is very open and light in terms of materials. Each pair of classes is connected with a courtyard that helps light and wind enter the classes.

  • The classrooms are divided through courtyards and lounges to en-hance the social interaction among the students. Social interaction improves creativity in the fields of music ad arts. In addition to the social interaction aspect, the courtyards allow natural elements such as light and greenery which also provokes talents and skills.

  • The exterior form of the building is an elongated and continuous form of strings. The inspiration of this form is the basic structure of most musical elements which is the strings. The simultaneous change be-tween glass and concrete frames the continuous movement of the strings.

  • City of Light 04

    31

  • Synopsis:

The site of this project is in Media City which is an inactive area at night as its a business interactive site during the day. The goal of this project was to create life at night as well as in the day. To achieve that, two basic elements were used. First urban element used was the street. The second element used was the light to create life at night. The site has a light show/ out-door cinema area that helps activate it.

    32

  • The structure is composed of a main arc on the West- North corner of the plot. It houses the penthouses and the apartments of the project. The project is split diagonally with a continuous element in which is the hotel.

When it comes to sustainability, the green roof is an aspect that are relatively easy to incorporate into this structure. In addition, shading devices are used around the functional spaces as well as the theatrical open space. The other sustainable aspect found to being very effective in the project espe-cially its integration in the street space is a floor tiling system that converts wasted energy from human footsteps into electricity known as Power.

  • The heart of the project is the night theatre which performs light shows and other artistic performances. The other crucial part of the project is the street element. The street is the eldest urban element of cities. The street contains shops, cafes and restaurants which revive the social flow of the project.

  • The main arc where the residential spaces are divided with a large light atrium. The atrium is located at the end of the diagonal hotel element which shades the street element. It penetrates the building vertically from the ground until the rooftop area where the penthouses are located.

  • Cycle Shelter 05

    51

  • Synopsis:Water has been used in a manner that flows from the beach on top of the whole structure and goes back to the beach. The purpose of this technique is to firstly, cool down the concrete-an second, use Grey water for non-drinking purposes. This will help in consuming less electric energy for cooling and less water for clean-ing.

    52

  • The shelter houses a research lab structure, a restaurant, a library and residential rooms for the researchers. The water element is used to both cool down the concrete. The angular structure comes together to create the form and shade the roof top area. Some of those concrete a slanted panels are covered with PV Panels to ab-sorb sunlight.

  • The movement of the water creates a courtyard in the heart of the structure. It slides down the glass walls to fill in a central fountain. This natural movement of the water creates a soothing ambiance for recreational spaces such as the library or restaurants.
