The subject of the degree thesis was the redevelopment of the area “Mirafiori” where was the Fiat factory in Turin.
Following the increasing attention of architecture in environmental and alimentary issues, it is been proposed a Vertival Farm to increase the production of food whit no costs to bring it to the city and so whitout pollution.
The idea of vertical farm is to have an indoor massive production of food, using hydroponic and aeroponic technology inside a tall building so to use not a lot of square meters at the ground.
All the building is ecological, producins its own energy by solar panels all over the facades.

The entire masterplan area develops following line drawn to mend the existing urban fabric, taking care to insert connecting roads and easing the tram so to improve and encourage the use of public transport.
In addition to many housing units, there have been included numerous social aggregation places and sports facilities and even some areas destined to urban gardens, schools and hotels. In the north, the main Fiat warehouse has been converted into a museum of Fiat and a central of eletrical production based on solar panels.

The building idea comes from grass blades and is composed of 7 towers with different heights and connected by suspended paths.
Four towers are totally dedicated to the indoor manufacture, two towers to the administration while the central one contains laboratories, educational spaces, offices and even a botanical garden.
The seven towers of various heights, fully glazed, are supported by a central column of reinforced concrete in which you will find the vertical connections and shafts for installations.
The central column also serves as a support for the cantilever beams that support the various floors.
Subject of the competition is the redevelopment of an industrial building in Quarto Inferiore (BO) to be used as a place dedicated to creativity.
Guiding principle of the project are dynamic and aggregation.
All spaces are modular, shifting wall units you can adapt the space to the needs of its users and optimizing its use.

Purpose of the project is the construction for the exhibition of the artifacts found in the site of “Villa Adriana” near the city of Tivoli (Rome).
The display elements are located in the area of the Maritime Theatre and the Hall of the Philosophers. The project is inspired by the site itself, reinventing the columns that characterizes the site, as exhibitors of the findings.

FASHION HOTEL
The project site is an area close to the train station of Florence, previously used for the maintenance of the trains.
Adjacent to the site is planned the construction of high-speed station designed by Norman Foster.
The theme of the project is the redevelopment of the buildings for the maintenance of trains were is proposed a fashion museum equipped whit spaces for permanent and temporary exhibitions.
On the side of the road has been designed a fashion five-storey hotel, connected by a square to the level of the museum, in front of which there is green park.

The side of the hotel in front of the road is totally made in perforated concrete so to allow the light in, while the side in front of the square is fully glazed so to see the
different functions and colors of spaces.
Inside, in addition to the different types of rooms (from simple to luxury), there are other services such as restaurants, gym
and auditorium.
The park is characterized by a “pixelated” paving of grass and concrete and is
equipped with a number of seats.
At the center there is a depression in the ground that creates a space for other
leisure activities.

Subject of the project for bachelor degree thesis was the realization of a showroom for the famous fashion brand Prada.
This brand has linked his name to the sporting achievements of Luna Rossa sailing team which gave the idea behind the project.
The building is in fact composed of two volumes that flank as two hulls during a competition. A third volume sinuously wraps them to recall the idea of the sea waves, the scene of the challenge.

The building is a game of space, shapes and volumes and all elements of the project are closely linked with each other. The circular shape that envelops everything has a ramp and is actually a gallery exhibition of products, but also a path that is linked by walkways to the central volume.
The two metal buildings are connected to the ground floor, where there is the showroom for major events but also retail spaces and a reception.
Upstairs you will find the video room and dining area with an overlook on the space of events.

The aim of our architectural and cultural approach is to eliminate the creation of the Ghetto phenomenon by accommodating new inhabitants in the existing urban structure closer to the citizens. When approaching the temporary housing the emphasis is on the creation of the shared spaces and values.
The new structures are in direct contact with the existing buildings which diminishes the heat lost from the existing building and creates energy gain for both. These structures are designed in a flexible way so the interior distribution can be adapted in time. The external structural shell remains while its modular interior transforms based on the necessities; for example from a bed & breakfast to a museum, or a parking garage.
Taking a step further to a more practical aspects and considering the environment in which we are operating we reflected on the climate and alimentation, in particular light deficiency and limited vegetable food production, that directly influence health and life quality.
We propose to create cultural centres that stimulate the interaction between people offering at the same time a knowledge sharing platform that offers different programs from training, courses to playgrounds and working spaces. Here people can discover new cultures and languages, learn from each other sharing values as love, friendship and happiness. This can be a place where everybody can feel free to express themselves and help each other to deal with everyday problems.

During my career I had a huge interest on computer graphics and I kept studying new softwares, experimenting new techniques to improve my skills to obtain a better result.
Here are some of my latest images starting from the 3d model and ending with the post-production.

Architectural and urban scale models communicate an object, an architectural project, the historical reconstruction of a building or a portion of the territory, better than any other material, graphic or video.
This because they respect the interests of the observers, in fact, he can chooses freely on what particular, from which point of observation and how long he can keep watching a project.
They are also a unique way to verify the proportions between the various elements and between the architecture and the surroundings.
Those are some of the reasons that grown my interest in this particular area and kept me producing them.
