A potpurri of my last two years as a graphic design student.
Publication
Started as a course, turned into an addiction.
Cover Design for an NID publication, Design and Environment. Commemorative publication for Johnnie Walker.
Publication Design for Quentin Tarantino’s script Django Unchained.. Masthead and Cover Design for Marg magazine.
Packaging
One areas with endless materials, endless explorations and obviously endless problems.
Bagh aur Bakri (i.e Tiger and Goat) is an ancient board game played under different
names in various parts of India. A strategy game where the ‘tigers’ and ‘goats’ try to outwit each other is a fun and involving
game for all ages. The rural Nepalese game Bagh Chaal, the American/Appalachian
game ‘Fox and geese’ and the Venezuelan game ‘Foxes and Hens’ are some of the
variants of ‘Bagh aur Bakri’ played around the world.
The game of Bagh aur Bakri is played upon a square board consisting 8x8 grid
with diagonal lines. I was working on my packaging course when I realized that I can use the packet itself to open up in the game.
This resulted in a ‘potli’- purse structure of the packaging, which contains the pieces
and the manual of the game.
One can carry the game around, the limitations of board games doesn’t apply on
this one.
Bag opening up in a board. Board with all the required objects, including the manual, coin, 4 tiger pieces and 16 sheep pieces.

ATKALPACHOO is a multi-disciplinary studio mainly dealing with branding, spatial and print design projects. It is a Mumbai based organization. Atkalpachoo believes in freshness and contentment rather than just two-dimensional work. The logotype also tries to convey a humanist approach by using a customized hand written text. And when it comes to the colour palette it sticks to the old RGB colours but with a twist in the tale.
This is the proposed letterhead for Atkalpachoo, set in Rockwell std. with the 9-point size, leading of 10.8 pt and tracking of 30. The letterhead will be available in three different colours, dividing the clients in three distinctive parts, which defines three different braches of firm. The three different colours are blue for print design, pink for spatial projects and lime green for branding.

Jaipur Literature Festival
DSC Jaipur Literature Festival is the largest literary festival in Asia-Pacific, and the most prestigious celebration of national and international literature to be held in India. It encompasses a range of readings, talks, debates, performances, children’s workshops and interactive activities. Entering its fifth year, JLF is now regarded as the Kumbh Mela of Indian and international writing, drawing in writers and readers from across India and the wider world.
