INFORMATION CENTERCARC 301

While studying abroad in Italy we were charged with the task of designing an information center for the small Italian town of Castiglion Fiorentino. The complex includes a performance area, information center, wine museum, gift shop and restaurant. Our main goal for this project was to create an inviting space for visitors and locals. We accomplished this by creating outdoor spaces such as a courtyard that would accommodate interface between the two. The most obvious design decision was to divide the functions into separate structures, which promotes zoning. This project was created in Revit.
