  • This is the one piece of concept art I created. It was made using the Lost My Name page references. I created it as a basic for the scene. It was then later used to create 3 other pieces of concept art.

(below) 3 pieces of concept art

    created by Evan Forrester

    (UP687296)

  • These are the two model sheets I created whilst I was aiding the designing stage of the pre-production. The image on the

left is a model sheet of a blanket, picture frame and B. The image on the right shows the design of a lamp and chest of draws.

  • Version 8Version 7Version 6Version 5

    Version 4Version 3Version 2Version 1

    These are all

    eight

    versions of

    the bear

    model. The

    final bear

    model was

    created by

    Evan

    Forrester the

    producer

    and director

    of the

    project. As

    you can see

    the versions

    improved

    significantly

    but kept the

    overall feel

    of a bear,

    with the

    nose and

    belly.

  • This is the final bear model that was used in the actual filming and animating. This model was created by Evan Forrester (UP687296). The

final version was created following the model sheets and the previous

    versions that I had done.

Within this final model I created the entire rig, the controls that were used for the animating and all of the extra constrains and pole vectors

that helped keep the shape and structure of the bear throughout

    production.

The rig created was fairly simple giving us full use of the bears motion, being able to move all of the body parts quickly and easily.

The controls created were parented to the IKs so that we could control the wrists, feet, waist and belly.

The big circle control at the bottom of the model was used for scaling

and initial positioning of the bear.

The goggle like shape at the front of the model is an aim constrain. This was created so that we could easily direct where the bear was

    looking by moving it around.

The two green crosses at the front of the model and at the back of the model were made and parented to the legs and arms to help the

movement of the elbows and kness.

This page displays three of the models I created for the Lost My Name project. The three images on the left show the bears cave that I modelled for the

scenes, where the bear and boy stand by the entrance talking. The two images on the bottom show the cookoo clock bird that wakes up the bear. The final

images on the right are of the clock itself complete with bird.

This is the second page of modelled assets. This page displays another 7 models that I created.

  • Blanket and B Models

    Blanket Model

    B Model

This is the third page of modelled assets. This page displays another 2 models that I created, these are; the letter B and the bears blanket. The image (bottom right) shows the texture that I created for the B model. This texture was created using the reference given to us at the start of production.

    The image above shows the

    rig and control that I

    created for the blanket. This

    rig and control was created

so that the blanket was able

    to move and shape whilst

the bear was holding it. The

    main circle control was so

    that we could scale the

    model and position it easily

    before animating.B texture

  • This is the final page of modelled assets. It shows the three different tree types I created to make the illusion of the boy walking through a forest. These

models were textured and duplicated several times and altered slightly in scale to create the forest consisting of many different trees of all different shapes

    and sizes.

  • Scene 3 Flashback (Cookoo Clock) Scene 6 Ending

These are the two scenes I was given to animate. The first scene is 9 seconds long and is the first flashback of two, where

the bear is woken up by a cookoo clock. The second scene is 18 seconds long and is the ending scene, where the bear

gives the boy the letter B off his blanket and then goes to sleep after counting sheep.
