GARMENT SHOWROOM : ES Garments – clothing retail shop
V CONCEPT :
• The juxtaposition of natural elements versus manmade materials, references the concept of an abandoned factory that is
consumed by nature. An ivy wall pays homage to the original store and demonstrates the harmonious impact of nature
taking over a manmade environment.
• The use of concrete window displays featuring straight edges and strip lighting, encourage consumers to enter the store.
The same effect is achieved with a piping system that runs throughout the space, both dictating the path of movement and
guiding one through merchandise. This piping system acts as the spine of the store housing lighting and forming a number
of displays.

CONCEPT– CAPSULE
This concept would transform the traditional pharmacist-client relationship, so the focus is on a revolutionary vision aimed at

UPHOLSTERY SHOWROOM : TAG
V CONCEPT :
• The intertwined, continuous and unwinding properties of the sewing threads are used to build a concept of an upholstery
showroom named as TAG , here the threads are the main element running continuously through the store starting from the
ceiling in the form of a fabric and then eventually unwinding itself into threads and again sewing itself into a fabric all the
way down to the flooring in the form of a displays or furniture pieces.
• The furniture and the flooring patterns have been derived from the patterns formed by crossing or overlapping of the
sewing threads.

ART AND CRAFT CENTRE :
V
CONCEPT – Urban meets Rural :
• The concept here is designing an environment suitable for the propagation of the languishing arts as well as famous
handicrafts, and also to promote trade of the known, unknown or less known arts and crafts, and at the same time making
the artisans feel at home similar to their village by designing the interior space accordingly, which will help in providing a
platform for interaction between artisans and people, students, anthropologists, businessmen and local & international
tourists, but at the same time giving the space an urban touch to raise their lifestyle.
• In addition to the features shown below terracotta flooring, brick wall effect, open electrical and plumbing services and
other features like a replica of a well to draw water for pottery works etc would enhance the concept.
