Parker Hannifin Corporation, Porter Instrument Division warrants that each product or part shall be free from defects in work-manship and materials, under normal use and with appropriate maintenance, for one (1) year from the date of delivery tocustomer unless otherwise specified in writing. All rubber and plastic parts and accessories are warranted under the sameconditions for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase.
No statement or claim about the product by any employee, agent, representative, or dealer of Parker Hannifin Corporationshall constitute a warranty by Parker Hannifin Corporation or give to rise to any liability or obligation of Parker HannifinCorporation.
Parker Hannifin Corporation shall not be liable for any damage, injury or loss arising out of the use of the product, whetheras a result of a defect in the product or otherwise, if, prior to such damage, injury or loss, the product was (1) damaged ormisused; (2) repaired, altered or modified by persons other than Parker Hannifin Corporation; (3) not installed in strict com-pliance with applicable codes and ordinances; or (4) not installed by an authorized Parker Hannifin Corporation dealer. The Porter/O-TWO Demand Valve Resuscitator provides a fast, simpleand effective means to ventilate non-breathing patients and provides 100%oxygen on Demand.
Designed to meet the varying requirements of the Emergency MedicalServices/Rescue Personnel, it is the only Demand Valve Resuscitator thatcomes standard with an Audible Pressure Relief System and sensitiveManual Ventilation Button,conveniently located on the front of the resusitator.The Manual Ventilation Button helps to ensure a patient airway by enablingboth hands to remain on the mask to facilitate a superior mask to face seal(without having to deal with cumbersome trigger levers or inconvenientlylocated top buttons).
The Manual Ventilation Flow rate is fixed at 40 lpm in line with the 1992American Heart Association Recommendations and Guidelines forResuscitation.During spontaneous respirations, the Demand Valve Resuscitator isdesigned to provide 100% oxygen to a breathing patient with minimal respiratory effort. The oxygen demand flow is controlled by the patientsinspiratory effort, with flow rates up to 160 lpm, to accommodate their ownrespiratory distress situation.
