Introduction(1)

• Who is Ferdinand Porsche?

• German automotive engineer Ferdinand Porsche was born on September 3, 1875 in Maffersdorf, Austria. At a young age, he had an affinity for technology, and was especially intrigued by electricity. Porsche worked as a successful vehicle engineer from the late 1800s to 1931, when he founded his own firm(Porsche).

• In 1934, Porsche and his son, Ferdinand Anton Ernst Porsche, collaborated to develop the first designs of the Volkswagen car.

• Porsche died in Stuttgart on January 30, 1951, at the age of 75. Nearly 60 years later, in 2009, the Porsche Museum opened in Zuffenhausen, a suburb of Stuttgart.

Introduction(2)• The Porsche Company logo depicts a crest

bearing the following information: black and red stripes and antlers are symbols of the German region of Baden-Württemberg, the inscription «Porsche» and prancing stallion on the logo reminded that native Stuttgart brand was created as a horse farm in 950.

• The central part of the logo depicts a black horse headlong, an expression of forward putting power and the crest possesses the outer shape of a coat of arms.

Porsche Design inspiration (Car wheels and Car models)

• Porsche Car wheels are of good high quality, more flexible, as well as promotes the capacity of the engine’s speed.

It’s construction is like no other. The pace of the wheel was built in a thinner layer than the average normal car wheels that we see around on a daily basis.

The size of a Porsche wheel is thin in general but it depends on the Porsche model as it varies within different Porsche model.

Porsche Design inspiration (Car wheels and Car models)

• Porsche has a variety of car models from prototypes/concept cars, to tractors, to hybrid and electric cars, as well as, racing and consumer models.

• Picked a particular interest on consumer models(e.g Porsche 918 Spyder)

Porsche Clock design Drawings• The Digital clock design is of a car wheel, and the reason

behind it it’s because we believe a car brand is best portrayed by a car wheel symbol as it enhances the power and value of the brand itself. The real model will be made under mixed media technique.

Porsche Radio design drawings

• The radio design was an inspiration from two of Porsche's sports model 918Spyder model and the 911, which stands for Pure &Energy. Just like Porsche, the designs reflect the spirit of Porsche sports and racing cars as they are integral elements of the brand itself. The real model will be made under mixed media technique.
