MAKING UP THE BLOCKS
Lay out the fabric for your blocks. Take the centre square and stitch your strips of fabric 11 to the sides and then the top and bottom
Next sew the small strips in between your small squares and the large squares. Stitch to the sides and then top and bottom. 16 blocks in total

The two blocks are made up the same way
MAKING UP THE QUILT
BINDING
Use your favourite method from fabric 11 to bind the quilt
QUILTING
Sandwich quilt top, wadding and backing together
Quilt by hand or machine as desired
Trim backing and wadding to size

Lay out your blocks and sashing pieces as in the main diagram. Stitch the sashing pieces together
The top and bottom strips of sashing will be sewn last to the quilt
Sew the blocks and sashing together in rows and then the sashing pieces together. Sew the rows together and then side sashing. Stitch the top and bottom to complete the quilt
