AT POLLING STATION Polling Day procedures Source: ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT ST PHOTOS: JASON QUAH STRAITS TIMES GRAPHICS TEMPERATURE SCREENING • Temperature screening will be conducted at the entrance of the polling station. • Anyone who has a temperature of 37.5 deg C or higher will be refused entry. • A decision will be made later on whether those with fever or respiratory symptoms will be allowed to vote. ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION • Scan your NRIC to register. RECEIVE BALLOT PAPER • Sanitise your hands and put on disposable gloves before receiving ballot paper. MARK CHOICE • Use the self-inking pen or use your own to mark your ballot. Booths and pens are sanitised regularly. DROP BALLOT PAPER INTO BALLOT BOX • Fold ballot paper before dropping it into ballot box. EXIT POLLING STATION • Throw the used gloves into a bin and sanitise your hands before leaving the polling station. Here is what the voting process will look like. • Look for the recommended two-hour time slot on your polling card. • Check the queue situation at VoteQ.gowhere. gov.sg before showing up. • Stand 1m apart from others at all times. • Lower your mask and show your NRIC to the election official.
