III phase of education: a student is able to write a short and simple text eg. e-mails, can react to an e-mail in a written form and use the multimedia sources of information; a student has vocabulary and lg skills to talk about science, technical inventions, ICT and media.

Although the new syllabus base has been introduced into schools there is no legal regulations concerning e-ducation

• Offering the teachers the access to didactic materials in electronic form

Innovative vocational school

Project ‘Innovative vocational school’ in 2009 financed by EFS Operational Programme Human Capital Programme

The aims of the project:• Teacher training in modern teaching methods• Equipping schools in newest hardware and

software

• Improving the quality and attractiveness of vocational education• Supporting the school programmes which are directed to equal the educational chances and improving the educational process with ICT tools• Preparing the teachers to conduct curricular and extra-curricular classes aimed at development of ICT key competences • Development of interdisciplinary projects with ICT tools

Innovative vocational school

The teachers will have additional classes for at least 1000 students in the form of modules. Twenty vocational schools from Opole province with their students, teachers and heads will participate in the project.

E-Academy of Future• e-Academy of Future in overregional programme of development of key competences with the emphasis on science, ICT, foreign languages and enterprise. It financed with European Union funds.• It is aimed at the students and teachers of lower secondary schools from the whole Poland. 200 lower secondary schools, 1500 teachers oraz 15000 first year students who have begun their education in school year 2010/2011 will take part in the project.• It will last for 3 years from the 1st September 2010 till the end of school year 2012/2013

School 2.0

The project initiated by Gazeta Wyborcza is aimed at the teachers from all educational levewls who feel the neeed to introduce ICT into Polish schools. The teachers who whant to teach their students how to use electronic sources of information and the Internet in a creative and responsible way. The project helps to develop critical thinking skills, selecting and verifying information and using theoretical knowledge in real life situations.

School 2.0

• Codes 2.0(examples of good practice how to use ICT technologies worked out during debates and discussions in schools

• ICT tasks (the ways to test and introduce codes 2.0 during the lessons and at home)

• Educational projects (the method promoting student authonomy, creativity and cooperation

• School Festivals 2.0 (the ways to celebrate the school achievements in the field of ICT

• Experts debates and conferences• Workshops and training for the project participants.

Problems with E-ducation

• No legal regulations• Insufficient financial support, lack of modern

equipment and the Internet access in numerous schools

• Mental barriers (teachers, headteachers)• Inadequate teacher training• Disappearing projects: One laptop for one

pupil
