A few words about Poland

The Republic of Poland is a country in Central Europe, bordered by Germany to the west, the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the south, Ukraine, Belarus to the east, and the Baltic Sea and Kaliningrad Oblast and Lithuania to the north.

Zakopane Zakopane is called "the capital of Polish mountains". Around

this city there are the Tatras mountains. In Zakopane there is

a beautiful lake called Morskie Oko. Near Zakopane there is a

high mountain Kasprowy Wierch. If you want to get on it, you

can use a ski lift. The most popular mountain in Zakopane is

Giewont with a big cross on the top of it.

Our Baltic Sea Poland has got access to the sea. That sea is

called Bałtyk. The biggest cities which lie by our sea

have got an enormous number of tourists, for

example: Świnoujście, Kołobrzeg, Władysławowo,

Hel, Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot. But even small

towns are devoloping too.
