PODIATRY - CLINICAL ASSISTANT Overview Foot Medic is a multi award winning podiatry centre. We are proud winners of Global health Podiatrists of the year 2018 and crowned Scotland’s Best Health and Wellness Business 2019. We are Glasgow’s only accredited podiatry clinic and an industry leader. We are well known for providing excellent care and our reputation precedes us in provision of excellent care experiences and clinical outcomes for our patients. Due to our continued business growth we are currently recruiting a clinical assistant to work along side our team of musculoskeletal (MSK) focused podiatrists using established treatment pathways and innovative clinical equipment and resources. The Role This is a part time position, 16 hrs/week. Rate of Pay: £8.50/hr You will assist in the smooth running of a busy podiatry clinic. This will involve assisting the podiatrist with patient treatments, surgical procedures, ordering stock, general cleaning, surgical instrument decontamination and sterilisation. Following a probationary period will be enrolled on formal, college of podiatry foot care assistant training program which, once complete will qualify you to perform a range of treatments under the guidance and support of the supervising podiatrist. Desirable Full clean driving licence (you may be required to travel as part of the role) Dental nurse / health care assistant experience Experience in a clinical environment will be an advantage Additional Information Working at foot medic wont be like working in any other practice.
