Greetings from

your LTG Happy November everybody! Last month we celebrated Halloween with a little twist of

service, next month is all about togetherness and being thankful for what we have. Be sure to

thank all the people in your life that helped you get over the mountain when you were

completely out of breath. As a club dedicate a time this month to write thank you letters to the

people that have helped you, or positively impacted you.

As you all know it is almost time for LTG elections! If you are interested in running for

LTG please email me immediately! I will be doing club visits to help caucus if there are more

than one candidate that would like to run from each school. Check in with your officers to get

the date of your club’s caucusing meeting. I’m excited to meet all of you!

Also I hope you all are counting down the days till DCON 2015! The call to convention

was released on Tuesday the 4th and I am excited to take you all on a space adventure! This year

we are gearing up with poms or noise makers and decking out in red and black to show our red

panda pride. In addition to sprit gear, there will be a poll for Tshirts beginning Monday the 10th

to Saturday the 15th so stay tuned for that! Also clubs should start fund raising for DCON now!

My assistants and I will begin to hold divisional fund raisers.

Like the many students who are grieving over the loss of the few students at Marysville

Pilchuck High School, I would like to highlight this event in my newsletter today. It is a very

sensitive topic for many people because it is only a few miles from where we are. I send my best

regards to those who have lost a brother, son, a friend and a speedy recovery to those who were

injured.

Thank you all for an amazing term so far!

In Service and Care,

In Care, Love and Service,

Why Did You Join?

“Well I joined Key Club because I have

been a girl scout for 13 years and a

volunteer for the Make-a-Wish

Foundation for ten so philanthropy has

always been part of my life, so I joined

Key Club to do more volunteer work

and to find people who share the same

values as me”

--Kim Perdue, Division 27

Woodinville President

“I initially joined Key Club because I was told

it would look good on my college

applications. But after first hand experience

with volunteer events, key club rallies, dcms,

and Dcon I was so motivated to join my

club's board to gain a further depth of the

key club experience.”

--Jon Dieu, Division 32, Hazen Editor

“I moved here from Germany, and in Germany

they have very strict laws on volunteering. I

wanted to impact my community, so when I

heard about key club after moving to the

states, I knew I had to make up for 15.5 years

that I couldn't volunteer!”

--Lexie Holden, Division 30

CALL TO CONVENTION VIDEO

What is DCON exactly?

DCON is a convention where Key Clubbers all over the Pacific

North West come together for three days to celebrate service and

volunteers! Get ready for spirit wars, chants, and an out of this

world dance! During your time at DCON you have the opportunity

of meeting new friends, attend amazing workshops, train your

officers for the coming year, enjoy live entertainment and most of

all elect your new district board members.

T Hey everyone, I just wanted to tank

and congratulate you all on the

wonderful works you guys are

doing! First of all thank you so much

for participating in Trick or Treat For

Unicef, I know I had fun doing that!

Also I would like to congratulate you

guys on all the hard work you are

doing for this project. As of right

now every 11 minutes a baby dies

from MNT, the frequency of babies

are a lot further apart. Before this

project started it was 9 minutes

every baby dies. This is 25 babies

less every day since this project has

started. Let keep lowering and

lowering this number until we have

zero babies that have to suffer from

this terrible disease. Thank you all so

much and keep up the hard work!
