COWS
Following a few bovine encounters recently, bear in mind that we
need to treat cows with care andconsideration, for our own good as
well as theirs. When walking through a field of cows, please:
• keep dogs on a lead / under close control
• go round the cows, not through them
• do not come between cows and their calves
• walk through together, in a group, except…
• … dog owners, please let other walkers go through first
• walk calmly, avoiding sudden noise or movement.

CARSHARE ARRANGEMENTS
Most of our walks include a carshare location (marked ✱ on the
maps overleaf). The meeting time given for carshare is the time
when cars will leave, so please make sure you arrive in time to get
everything sorted first.
Bear in mind that carshare is a voluntary arrangement – we
cannot guarantee you will get a lift, though usually it works out
fine. Driver and passengers should share the cost of the journey,
including petrol, wear and tear, parking, ferries and tolls.
