PLYMOUTH NORTH HIGH SCHOOL WIND TURBINE PROJECT Model High School Site 41 Obery Street Plymouth, MA
Feb 12, 2016
Atlantic Design Engineers, LLC (Atlantic) conducted an initial wind turbine siting and feasibility analysis of the PNHS property.
Atlantic completed a series of studies to obtain a better understanding of the impacts associated with a turbine in this location including:
Shadow Flicker Impact Study Photosimulations from various locations around the site Zone of Visual Influence (ZVI) Map
Atlantic then completed a noise monitoring program and Acoustic Analysis to determine the background (ambient) noise levels at various locations surrounding the site; and selected a representative turbine (900kW EWT) to acquire a better understanding of the specific acoustic impacts the project may have on nearby residential neighborhoods.
