Copper Losses is the power lost in the form of heat in the armature winding of a generator

Iron Losses is the power lost in the form of heat in iron core of a generator

Iron Losses divide into : 1.Hysteresis Losses is a heat loss caused

by the magnetic properties of iron core2. Eddy Current Losses is a heat loss

caused by current conductor of iron core
