Pleasant Hill Gives
January Thank You!! Last month was cold and short, and we donated 336 needed items to the Interfaith Food Pantry. Like Ralph and Ryan (OSOB), let’s look out
for our friends and neighbors and let’s try to DOUBLE our donations this in February! Tokens went to Youngblood AM, Powel, Forst (Herdrich), Murray, Lather, and Berringer. Thank you from the Food Drive Committee!
February Food Drive
February 13, 14, & 15
This month’s drive is Valentine’s week (going on RIGHT NOW!) If you are
coming in to help at a party, please consider bringing in some donations at
the same time (be sure to tag the bag with the teacher’s name). See below
for the list of items most wanted this month.
all donations are greatly appreciated!

In February, let’s stock the pantry with basics and some extras to warm up them up like: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pancake mix, low-sodium soups and crackers, FRESH fruits and veggies, toothpaste, lip balm, lotion, shampoo, bar soap, toilet paper and baby products.
Amazon Smile It’s TOO COLD to leave your house to shop! When you shop on Amazon, don’t forget to make sure that you start out at using Amazon Smile. This costs you nothing, but Amazon donations a portion of purchases to your selected charity. Be sure to choose “Pleasant Hill PTA,” Winfield, IL (there are multiple Pleasant Hill listings, so be sure you are choosing ours!).
Shoparoo This is another great way you can make a difference without costing you an extra penny! Simply download the Shoparoo app. Use it to take a picture of ALL of your receipts as you shop (grocery, Target, Walgreens—where ever you may be shopping), and Pleasant Hill benefits.
Box Tops Keep on collecting those box tops. Our next contest is in the spring!
It’s here, it’s here!!
Electronics Recycling Drive Has Begun! Donate old, unwanted electronics in a secure and safe manner. Pleasant Hill receives a
donation for each item that is turned in. ReUp deletes all of your data, collects parts
and refurbishes useful items, and RESPONSIBLY recycles the rest.
