• Internal Forces – processes that happen inside the earth that change the land

• Example – volcanoes, earthquakes

Rodinia, the oldest supercontinent for which we have some record, formed during the middle Proterozoic (~ 1100 million years ago) with North America in the center, South America to the east, and Australia and Antarctica to the west.

1. Write Plate Tectonics Tasks in the center of your page. Number 1-9.

2. Turn to your CHAMPs section in the front of your notebook. Copy the Laptops CHAMPs chart as I go over it. When you are finished show an adult the chart and get it approved. Once your chart is approved you may get a laptop. You will need a partner as well.

3. Login = the letter S and your student ID, example s123456. The password = student09- Go to www.wgL09.wikispaces.com

4. Click 1st Six Weeks

5. Open the power point titled “Plate Tectonicsgood – 09 L.”

6. Complete all tasks and take the required notes.
