PLASTICINE TO TEACH

VALUES “RESPONSIBILITYNorma Bastidas

Page 2: Plasticine to teach values

Students must know the meaning of the word

responsibility. It’s a good idea to ask them to

search the meaning of this word in a dictionary.

Page 3: Plasticine to teach values

Divide the class into groups of two and ask

students to compare the definitions and find it

out the common ideas.

DutyObligation

Page 4: Plasticine to teach values

They are going to work with the same partner

and talk about their responsibilities.

Do my

homework…Feed my dog…

Then I am going to tell students that this special

word “responsibility” has three characteristics:

The activities that you consider your

responsibilities must be done at the

right time.

Perfect, and

With good attitude.

Page 6: Plasticine to teach values

Once they have it clear, they are going to choose

the responsibility that satisfies these three

characteristics and they are going to be able to

model it in plasticine.

Page 7: Plasticine to teach values

The plasticine that I am going to give them is

going to be modeled like in the pictures:

Page 8: Plasticine to teach values

Once they’ve kept the images in their minds, students

have to model the plasticine in small rolls again.

This is another value implicit in the lesson. To leave

the materials in the same way that they received.
