WE CAN CLASSIFY PLANTS INTO DIFFERENT GROUPS ACCORDING TO THEIR STEMS:

Page 4: Plants have similarities and differences

THEY HAVE A SOFT STEM. THEY ARE THIN, FLEXIBLE AND USUALLY SHORT.

EXAMPLE: WHEAT (TRIGO). IT HAS A LONG STEM AND MANY KERNELS AT THE END OF EACH STEM. WE MAKE BREAD FROM WHEAT.

Page 5: Plants have similarities and differences

- THEY HAVE WOODY STEMS WITH LOW BRANCHES.THEY ARE TALLER THAN GRASSES AND LIVE LONGER.

- EXAMPLE: BLACKBERRY BUSH (ZARZAMORA

Page 6: Plants have similarities and differences

THEY HAVE A THICK, WOODY STEM CALLED TRUNK.
