Year Two: Summary So Far...

• This is our 4th Meeting– 1 more face-to-face meeting between now and October 30th

• Received 9 Endorsements of O&E Report• Made 6 legislative visits• Increased family & consumer involvement in DHHS

workgroups/taskforce by 8 individuals• Coordinated five “Community Chats” around the state, 68 allowing

individuals receiving services, waiting for services and their families to communicate directly with high level DHHS officials.

• Increased our communication capabilities– Website: posting all meeting materials as resources for consumers

& families across the state. – Mailing List: Allows us to reach 225 individuals with advocacy alerts

and information– Social Media: Facebook & Twitter presence established

Year Two: The Second Half

• Substance Use Disorder• Mental Health• I/DD, TBI, Physical Health

– Discuss how NC SEG can have a impact in your area in the next SIX months

– Complete your SMART goals worksheet – Will present your plan to the group at end of

exercise

alignment with our Outcomes & Expectations Report • Make sure your goals are:
