Automatic College Admission

• (TEC), 51.803, a student is eligible for automatic admission to a state college or university as an undergraduate student if the applicant earned a grade point average in the top 10 percent * of the student’s high school graduating class. The University of Texas gives automatic admission to the top 7%.

• Enrolls in college no more than two years after graduating from high school

• Submits an application to a Texas public university for admission before the institution’s application deadline.
