The abbey falls are one of the most popular waterfalls in the southern part of India. The Cauvery
River cascades from the height of almost seventy feet. One has to drive for around seven
kilometers from the main town to visit the spot. It is preferable for picnics with family and

Talacauvery is the source of the river Cauvery. It is a pilgrimage centre 44 kilometers away from
Madikeri. The place has spiritualistic beauty and pilgrims from all over India try to visit it, when
