STEELERS 2020 TEAM CAPTAINS• The Steelers selected five players to serve as team captains for the 2020 season
determined by a vote of their teammates.• QB Ben Roethlisberger and C Maurkice Pouncey were selected to serve as
offensive captains, DT Cameron Heyward and LB T.J. Watt were picked to serve as defensive captains and S Jordan Dangerfield was chosen to serve as the special teams captain.
• Roethlisberger was selected as an offensive captain for the 12th time in his career (2008-09, 2011-20). This marks Heyward’s sixth consecutive year as a captain (2015-20), and the fourth time Pouncey has been named a captain (2013, 2018-20).
• Watt and Dangerfield were named captains for the first time in their respective careers.

• The Steelers will play host to the Baltimore Ravens at 8:20 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26, on NBC. Pittsburgh has played eight times on Thanksgiving, but each previous contest occurred outside of Pittsburgh. The Steelers defeated the Indianapolis Colts, 28-7, on November 24, 2016, in their last appearance on the holiday.
• Pittsburgh will also make two appearances on Monday Night Football, which extends the Steelers streak to 16 consecutive years with at least one MNF game. Pittsburgh opened its regular season on Monday Night Football at the New York Giants in Week 1 on Sept. 14 (W, 26-16). The Steelers will also travel to the Cincinnati Bengals for an MNF contest in Week 15 on Dec. 21 (ESPN 8:15 p.m.).
• Pittsburgh’s other nationally televised primetime game is scheduled for Sunday Night Football at the Buffalo Bills in Week 14 on Dec. 13 (NBC, 8:20 p.m.).
• The Steelers’ bye week will be on Nov. 1 (Week 8).• “Flexible scheduling” will be used in Weeks 11-17. Additionally, in Weeks 5-10, flexible
scheduling may be used in no more than two weeks. In Weeks 5-16, the schedule lists the games tentatively set for Sunday Night Football on NBC. Only Sunday afternoon games are eligible to be moved to Sunday night, in which case the tentatively scheduled Sunday night game would be moved to an afternoon start time. A flexible scheduling move would be announced at least 12 days before the game in Weeks 11-16 and at least six days prior to Week 17. Flexible scheduling will not be applied to games airing on Thursday or Monday nights.
FOUR STEELERS NAMED ALL-PRO• DT Cameron Heyward, LB T.J. Watt and S Minkah Fitzpatrick were all named
first-team Associated Press All-Pro.• Heyward is an All-Pro for the second time, while Fitzpatrick and Watt are first-time
selections.• Heyward, who was named All-Pro after the 2017 season, registered 9.0 sacks, 22
quarterback hits, 11 tackles for a loss and six passes defended.• Fitzpatrick had 5 interceptions, 2 forced fumble and 3 fumble recoveries, while making a
huge impact on the defense after being acquired via trade from the Miami Dolphins. He led the NFL in takeaways with 8 and tied for the League lead in defensive touchdowns with 2.
• Watt was named first-team edge rusher after finishing the year with 14.5 sacks. He finished with eight forced fumbles, two interceptions, four fumble recoveries and 36 quarterback hits. Also voted second-team All-Pro at linebacker, Watt had multiple sack games four times this season, including two sacks against both the Rams and Dolphins, and a sack and a half against the Bengals and Colts.
• Rookie Diontae Johnson was also named second-team All-Pro as a punt returner. Johnson returned 22 punts for 272 yards, a 12.36-yard average. He also had an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals, which was the play of the game in the Steelers 23-17 win. The touchdown included him reversing direction and then turning on the afterburners. It was the longest punt return in team history, and it broke a dry spell, as the last punt return for a touchdown by the Steelers was in 2015.
• WR Diontae Johnson was named second-team All-Pro as a punt returner. He returned 22 punts for 272 yards, a 12.36-yard average. Johnson also had an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals.
FIVE STEELERS SELECTED TO THE 2020 PRO BOWL• DT Cameron Heyward, LB T.J. Watt, C Maurkice Pouncey, S Minkah

The Steelers took the lead early in the third quarter with a 97-yard touchdown pass from Roethlisberger to WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, but the game was tied for a third time when a turnover gave the Broncos a short field, setting Keenum up for his second touchdown pass of the day.
Denver took back the lead on the first drive of the fourth quarter with a 2-yard touchdown run from RB Philip Lindsay. An interception by Roethlisberger in the end zone with 1:07 remaining ended the game in favor of the Broncos.
