Age Range

We chose 4-11 because we’re doing a young children's TV drama.

This was an easy age range to choose because they are easy to entertain and it is a big thing for them to be filmed on camera and therefore will be enthusiastic.

Vivid Colour

On the title sequence, we aim to have it very brightly coloured to match the upbeat and fun lifestyle of the children.

Also, to a watching viewer it is eye catching and interesting to look at.

The bright colours connote happiness and excitement which is our aim for the task.

Six People

We chose this number as it was a good amount to have with a variety of girls and boys as we aim to have three of each.

These six will be the main characters although we aim to have more background children to make it seem more school lifelike.

Mock Lesson

In this filming we will ask if we can do a mock/pretend lesson to make it seem like it’s a real school day.

By doing this we hope to make our TV drama both educational and exciting.

This will be a quick filming of the children in the class with their work books out and the teacher conducting the lesson.

Playtime

This will be the most fun of the day. We will provide equipment for the children such as footballs, hula hoops, etc.

We hope to create a fun atmosphere and that the children will have a enjoyable day.

This will be the main part of our filming and will include all the extras.

Potential animation

When we have finished filming, we will then decide if we want any animation to pad out the sequence with additional add on excitement.

The soundtrack

We understand that copyright is not allowed to be used, so we have decided to look through unsigned bands and artists.

If we cannot find anything we will then think about approaching a signed group for permission to use their music.
