The purpose of this project was to stabilize and restore an eroded stream channel within Pinecrest Golf Course that is owned and operated by FCPA. This project was substantially completed on time and within budget on April 28, 2016.
Project Overview:• Channel improvement and stream bank stabilization of approximately 185 linear feet of Turkeycock Run
between the existing upper pond and the twin 54” culverts alongside the tee box of Pinecrest Golf Course hole no. 8
• Installation of imbricated rock walls and two (2) in-stream rock structures• Installation of coir log toe protection• Planting of native shrubs and grasses to promote the natural reforestation of the project site and enhance
habitat
